She was in a peaceful sleep as she sat there. She shifted gently then her eyes fluttered open. She slowly sat up and looked around letting out a soft yawn. She was about to get up and check to see if Maddison had ever brought her stuff when she spotted Ryan in the chair She rubbed her eyes gently then lookec back up to him. "Hey." She said sweetly as she ran a hand through her black hair getting it out of her face. She looked at him then to Thomas brushing some hair out of his face before she stood and stretched gently. Her shirt lifted to show her mid-drift that had a green jeweled navel ring adorning it. "That was a refreshing nap." She said gently as she sat down on the armrest of the couch looking at him. "You look like you didn't sleep too well though." She said gently looking at him a little worried. She kind of figured he had gone upstairs to sleep. It's what she would have done. She kind of sort of did actually only it was downstairs with Thomas.

He watched as she got up and he stared at the ring for a moment, Thomas hadn't mentioned that. Or maybe he didn't know about it, but surely he would have. "You know, Thomas never told me that you had any piercings. Then again, he didn't even really tell me what you looked like. Since he's been off with you so we haven't talked lately since during the day I'm sleeping most of the time." He said and then grinned at her, sometimes it was because he'd had a little too much alcohol that he'd sleep so much. But sometimes he could sleep most of the day away because he'd stayed up all night partying and as soon as he woke up he'd sit around the house and recover more for a bit before heading out at night to go off to another party. He loved to go to the club but he also like to go to the parities that were held at homes. Sometimes he would hold them here but it wasn't like the gossip column said. His house was not a never ending party he only held parties here maybe once every other week or so during the summer. During the school year he might hold one here once a month, it all depended on school work or games.
"No, I didn't sleep too well but I'll be fine. I didn't fall asleep here I fell asleep in my room but part of my problem is I was up all night with Thomas." He said and then looked over at Thomas, last night had been horrible. Thomas had basically been hysterical for most of the night for some reason and he had been very glad when he had been calm today. He got up and walked over to where he was still asleep and checked on his knee again. It seemed as if the swelling when down a little more since he had last checked it but he couldn't be sure. He could see the bruise on it though and he did have to admit, it did look really painful. "You know, I think that the swelling might have went down a little bit more then the last time that I checked." He said before sitting down on the floor.

She looked up at him then down at her navel piercing and then back up. "He doesn't know about it for one thing. I don't wear it as often as I used to. Don't tell him though. I want him to find that out on his own." She said gently as she lifted her shirt and messed with it for a minute before she pulled her shirt back down to cover it. She looked back at him smiling sweetly. She brushed a hand through her hair then looked to Thomas.
She looked at him and nodded gently. "I can understand that." She said gently looking at her hands. She looked up and watched as he got up and walked over to the couch. She looked at Thomas as he checked his knee then up at Ryan. She nodded gently. "Well, that's really good. I asked Maddison West to bring me a few things that I had left at her place including some crutches, so if he still can't put weight on it tomorrow he can at least get around a little." She said gently looking at Thomas then back to Ryan as he sat on the floor. She stood up looking at him. "As a matter of fact, she probably just left the stuff on the doorstep or something." She said glancing into the hallway.

"Ok, I'm not going to tell him. But he's going to be very surprised once he finds out about that though. Since I think that he thinks that you're, oh how should I put it..a good girl. As in, you wouldn't have any piercings. He came over here really early in the morning one time and told me that he'd asked a girl out but he didn't know if he was good enough for her, this was when he asked you out." He said and then looked over at Thomas just to make sure that he hadn't suddenly woken up after hearing that. But he was still fast asleep, maybe by the time he woke up the swelling would have gone down enough so that he could be moved to one of the guest bedrooms. He wondered if Jeanette knew that Thomas hadn't really thought that he had deserved to go out with her until he'd told him that if he was happy with her then he deserved her.
"Maddison West, her name rings a bell. Her brother goes to some of the parties that I'm at. He's pretty cool, not to mention he tells these really weird stories when he's drunk." He said and smiled, the stories that he told were a little odd because they were about red giraffes or when the sky was violet or something. After hearing those he'd hoped that he didn't do anything that silly when he was drunk. He'd been told that he stood on tables and sang songs loudly though but that wasn't anything too major. "Yeah he'd probably be happy if he could move around a little bit." He said and then watched as Thomas mumbled something in his sleep before moving his arm. "Ok well while you go get that I'll stay here simply because I have a feeling that he might wake up soon. It's getting pretty late though so it'll be just my luck that I fall asleep just as he wakes up." He said before looking down at the floor, he could easily fall back asleep. But he didn't want another dream to happen again.

"Well I didn't get it without my parent's permission." She looked at him then to Thomas for a moment. No guy had ever thought they hadn't deserved her. All of the guys she had dated thought they had and actually took her for granted. She smiled gently then looked back to Ryan. "He... never told me that."She said gently looking back to Ryan.
She smiled gently. "Yeah, we kind of made friends pretty quick. She reminds me of my friend back home in more ways than one. I guess that's what pulled me towards her." She said gently as she brushed a lock of hair behind her ear. Maddie had made a good friend and she really did remind her of Zoe a lot. They were just so radically alike in so many ways. The way they dressed and thought, and they way they did their hair and all. Of course for Zoe she normally had a color in her hair matching her mood. Maddison just had the same colors pretty much everyday.
"I kind of figured he would like to have crutches more than not being able to move around at all." She looked to Thomas when he shifted and mumbled something. She smiled gently then walked out of the room. She opened the front door and smiled when she saw a duffle bag with her crutches resting ontop. She picked them up and closed the door making sure it was locked then went back into the living room propping the crutches against the couch and set the bag down next to it. "You know, if you want to you can go sleep and I can stay down here with him. I know how to take care of something like this. I've had to do it several times in the last six or seven months now." She said gently as she sat down next to him. She could tell he was tired just by looking at him.

"Well, I should hope so since I would hope that you're not just trying to show your parents just what you can do or something." He said and then wondered if she would realize that the reason why he said that was he knew for a fact that Thomas had went through the rebellious stage awhile ago. He had actually thought about going and getting his ear pierced again. He was really glad that he'd been able to talk Thomas out of that one because he knew that if Thomas had gotten that done that he'd probably regret it now. "Maybe the reason why he never told you that was because he didn't want you to know about that. But, unlike Thomas I believe that you have a right to know that I don't want to scare you though." He said and then looked over to where Thomas was, sometimes he really wondered what went through his head. Why had he thought that he didn't deserve Jeanette didn't he know that everybody had things in their past that they didn't like? Not to mention, he didn't think of Thomas as a bad person, or course he could be a little biased seeing as how he was his best friend.
"I've never really talked to her but she seems like a fun person. Not to mention the two of you are probably meant to be together. You're musical, and she's rather artistic. Maybe what drew you to her is kind of what drew me to Thomas all those years ago. Since I used to be really quiet there for awhile and Thomas used to be shy." He said before slowly getting up off of the floor and stretching a bit. For awhile there he hadn't even really talked to anybody but people had figured right, he was really silent because he was really upset over the loss of his best friend, like anybody would be. He'd just chosen to be silent for some reason and that silence had finally broken when he'd found Thomas all off on his own one day. "Yeah he'll probably be really happy if he can actually go places on his own. But I'm still not sure if I can let him out of my sight." He said and then looked at Jeanette, she'd probably noticed how bold Thomas could be at times.
"Thank you for the offer, because I really need sleep right now." He said and then without another word he slipped out of the room and up the stairs to his room. Once again he curled up on his bed and within a few minutes he was out like a light.
Thomas opened his eyes slowly and then looked around the room. It took him a moment to realize where he was and he had almost gotten up for the chair. The key word there is almost, the pain in his knee had instantly came back after waking up. But for some reason, it didn't seem as strong as it had been before. "Don't tell me you're going to play nurse like Ryan has been." He said and then smiled slightly, he hated it when people fussed over him. But he figured that it would be natural for her to fuss over him because it seemed like that was natural for all females.

She chuckled gently and shook her head looking at him. It was never about rebellion for her. She had always thought that navel piercings were cute and her mom had gotten one when she was young so she took that as initative one day to ask her if she could have one. She kind of figured that Thomas had gone through a rebellious stage. Most teens did so it wasn't a surprise to her. She looked at him and smiled ever so gently at the mention that maybe he didn't want her to know. She looked to Thomas and chewed on her bottom lip.
She looked at him and nodded gently in agreement. Maddie was a good friend and that's exactly what she needed here with what she was going through. She didn't ask questions on the phone, but she had a feeling that her artistic friend had made a cute little note that said to text her the info later. She looked at him and nodded. "Oh, don't worry, I've got a few rules that go along with the crutches." She said gently smiling gently. She watched him slip out of the living room then looked to Thomas who was starting to stir.
She smiled gently looking at him. "Hello, sleepyhead." She said gently. She chuckled and eased herself up onto the couch next to him. "Yes, I am, but I've got something that Maddie brought over a little while ago." She said gently as she stood up and went around the couch and then she came back to the front of it holding a set of crutches. These are mine, but you can use them till you get better." She said holding them just out of his reach. "You have to promise me you'll be careful with them first though. Please." She said gently looking at him as she sat down propping the crutches agaisnt the armrest his head was resting again.

"I promise that I'll be careful, besides I'm only going to stay on the first floor anyway. Not to mention, I don't think that I'll be going anywhere today since my knee still hurts and even I can tell from here that it's still swollen." He said and then he looked around, he wondered where Ryan was keeping the pain medication at because it probably was well after the time that he should have gotten another two pills. He looked out the window and noticed that the sun was setting which meant that he had slept for a long time again. How could he keep sleeping for hours at a time when he had been caught up on his sleep before he'd gotten hurt? Maybe the pain medication was somehow making him sleep. "If Alex says something about this when I get back...whenever that is going to be. He's going to get it, he doesn't care about anybody but himself anymore and sometimes I don't even know if he does." He said and then sighed, the way that Alex talked sometimes he really wondered if he was plotting to end things. When he got to talking like that he always watched him like a hawk. But now that he realized it, nobody would really be able to watch Alex now that he was gone. His dad would try to but he wasn't home all of the time, or at least not as much as he was. He just hoped Alex wouldn't try anything while he was gone.
Once more, Ryan was swept up into a dream. But this one was much different then the first one. This one started at Greg's funeral, he could almost feel the flowers that were close to him. He could see all of the people around him crying yet he wasn't it seemed as if in this dream he was supposed to see what was happening and not really be in it. But no, as he looked over to his left he saw his parents and there he was sitting there and crying so hard that his whole body was shaking. Then the whole scene changed and he was in front of Greg's grave as it was the last time that he had saw it, moss covered and with weeds around it. That was how it had been before he'd spent half a day cleaning it up. Then out of nowhere he felt something tugging on his pants leg and he looked down and jumped back. There was Greg again but this time he wasn't saying anything and was just staring at him before disappearing. Unknown to him, but he actually was now screaming in his sleep. "Why do you keep doing this to me? No, don't go please I just need answers. That's all, honestly, just don't leave me." The sound cut through the still upstairs before suddenly breaking the near silence of the first floor. All of a sudden Ryan woke up again and quickly turned over before realizing that was a mistake because he was soon falling to the floor.

She tilted her head softly and reached a hand out. She brushed away his hair. "Yeah, but the swellings gone down a little, that's a really good sign." She said gently as she eased herself to the floor so she could be somewhat eye level to him. She listened to him talk about Alex and she sighed shaking her head softly. She looked back up at him. "You don't need to worry about that right now. You need to worry about getting better sooner because I meant it when I said me and Ryan are taking you to the hospital if this isn't better tomorrow." She said gently as she reached a hand up to his held it for a moment. How could he possibly think he didn't diserve her? She still couldn't believe he thought that.
She was just about to ask him about it when all of a sudden she heard a muffled yelling upstairs and a few minutes later a thud came from above them. She looked to the ceiling and frowned. "I'll be right back." She said softly as she carefully stood up letting go of his hand. She walked out of the living room and up the stairs cautiously. She searched the hall for Ryan's room and when she finally found it she pressed an ear to it to listen. "Hey, Ryan? You okay in there?" She asked gently not opening the door. She didn't want to invade his privacy. She just wanted to make sure he was alright, and plus she wanted to get Thomas some pain killers for his leg too.

He was actually surprised that she was trusting him with crutches even though he'd promised her that he would be careful. Since he knew that he could end up overdoing things and then his knee could get really swollen up again. "Yeah but all of that could change in a heartbeat things could happen." He said and let out a sigh, she probably didn't realize that while he said that he was thinking back to after Alex had finally started walking again and he'd went and managed to over do things. Then he'd messed up his entire leg again because of it and things had been set back for a long time after that. Alex hadn't really been that far into his depression then and you could actually talk to him a little. But it just seemed that overnight he changed dramatically and turned into some other person. "I always have to worry about that because one day he could just be gone..permanently." He said and then heard the yelling and the thud now he was really confused. But he didn't say anything as Jeanette went upstairs.
Ryan was now laying flat on his back on the floor as he tried to recover from the shock of the dream and the fact that he'd woken up because he'd fallen off of the bed. He jumped slightly when he heard Jeanette's voice and he hoped that she wouldn't enter. Because he'd broken out into a cold sweat and he could hardly talk. "I'm fine.. I just kind of, fell off the bed that's all." He said and then rolled over on his side before finally sitting up. He then forced himself to get up and he slowly made his way over to his closet before digging around for a moment and pulling another shirt out. He'd apparently been broke out in that cold sweat for longer then he thought because his shirt was slightly damp and he hated that feeling. He quickly switched shirts before throwing the old one into the closet and shutting the door on it. "If Thomas asks just tell him he was hearing things." He said knowing that if Thomas knew he'd been yelling in his sleep that he'd want to come up here and that simply wasn't happening.

She listened to him for a moment and then she heard him again. She frowned gently trying to figure out how Thomas was going to believe that small lie. Sure it would be easy to pass off the lie about the bruise Neils had given her, but yelling and a loud thud? She shook her head gently feeling a twinge of guilt suddenly. She felt so guilty for all the lying she would be doing in the next week or so. And what if Neils got hostile around Thomas for no reason? She just didn't want to get stuck in the middle. She was already angry enough with Neils and she didn't need to be stuck in the middle to choose. If she ever told Thomas maybe just maybe he would understand that. "Umm... okay. Hey where are the pain killers. Thomas needs some more." She said through the door still not opening it. Once again she didn't want to disturb his privacy.

"They're in the bathroom medicine cabinet there's about three different kinds in there if you feel like switching things up. The one that I've been giving him is the one with the red cap." He said and then made his way over to the bed and curled up on it again as he tried to go back to sleep but he was finding that it was an impossible task at the moment. There was just too much to think about and the events from today kept replaying themselves in his mind. Who would have thought that a simple visit to the ice rink would have completely changed the course of events that probably would have happened. He knew that if things could happen again he wouldn't change anything, well he'd probably take out the dreams that he'd had but that was about it. A few tears slipped from his eyes but he quickly wiped them away. Then he kicked his shoes off and stared at the door. As soon as he was sure that Jeanette had left he'd probably go solo and dig around before he found some more alcohol that he was sure was up here. Maybe after that he'd be able to finally get to sleep without any dreams.

She listened to him and nodded gently. "Thanks, Ryan. Oh, and don't let the dreams get to you." She said gently as she stepped away from the door. She knew that's what had to be bothering him at the moment. She had fallen out of her bed after yelling in her sleep several times so it wouldn't be a surprise if that's what happened to him. She found her way to the bathroom and looked through the three of the pain killers. She looked at the one that Ryan had been giving him and frowned. It was now no wonder why Thomas had been sleeping through so much comotion. The stuff caused serious drowsiness. She looked at another bottle and made sure drowsiness wasn't a symptom before she took it and walked through the kitchen finding the glasses and fixed some glasses of water for both of them and grabbed the ice pack before she made her way back to the living room.
She walked over to the couch and set her glass down on a coaster on the coffee table then handed the glass of water to Thomas. "It's no wonder you've been sleeping so much. Ryan's been giving you stuff that makes you really drowsy." She said gently as she dumbed two of the pills into her hand and held them out for Thomas to take.

My god, did Thomas know that his girlfriend was a psychic? No, he probably didn't because if he did then he probably wouldn't have done half of the things that he had since he had started going out with her. Not to mention, he probably wouldn't have thought about certain things as much. As soon as he was sure that Jeanette had left he finally let his guard down and he drifted off into a deep sleep. And for the first time in a couple of days he didn't dream about anything.
So Ryan had been giving him medication that was making him drowsy, well maybe it was a good thing. Because he probably wouldn't have been very pleasant to be around. "Well, I can give you two reasons why one, I was really hysterical last night and if you would have saw me you would have thought I escaped from a mental hospital. Or two, he was really tired last night and he still is where is he anyway and why did I hear that thump?" He asked and then took the glass and the pills and quickly took them before setting the glass back down on the table.
((Short and really bad but my Thomas & Ryan muse just went out the window after I lost that post))

She looked at him and smiled gently as she took a sip of her water and took off the bag of peas and gently placed the ice pack on his knee. She made sure to get a short look at it before she actually placed the pack down. "You don't have to explain. Neils would have done the same thing for me." She said gently as she looked from his knee to him. "The swellings slowly going down." She said gently as she sat down on the floor. She took another sip of her water before she propped her arm up on the edge of the couch and rested her head in her hand.
"um, Ryan rolled over to the wrong side and fell out of his bed." She said gently then looked up at him hoping he would take that as a good enough answer. "Now, what's this I hear of you thinking you don't diserve me?" She asked curiously looking at him gently as she scooted closer up to his face.
