He shook his head, "That doesn't matter right now. All I need to know is do you trust me? It doesn't pretain at all to what I am about to do, I just need to know for anything else I might happen to do in the future." His other hand rested in the curve of her waist, thumb rubbing her skin gently. His other hand simply held her head softly looking up at him. He moved closer to her, his chest against hers, his face very close to her now. "Please just tell me the answer," he pleaded, "I have to know."

She looked at him and frowned softly at his eyes. "You know, that's not much comfort to me that you're asking me to trust you for whatever you may do in the future." She said gently looking at him questioningly. She felt a tingling sensation where his thumb was rubbing the skin at her waist softly. She felt him shift around, but her eyes didn't leave his. She wasn't sure if she could trust him with the way he was pleading her to answer him. She closed her eyes and sighed then they fluttered back open and she nodded her head gently. "Yes, I trust you." She said softly looking at him as her hand reached up to his cheek.

He smiled thankfully, just a small curve of his mouth. "Thank you, and I know that's not very comforting to you, but I needed to know. The reason I asked is because you need to be able to trust that I will not ever do something for a reason that means I don't love you more than the world we live on." His eyes burned into hers and he pressed his nose against her own, "More than living at all." He turned his head and his nose moved away from hers, replacing the touch with his lips on her lips. His hands both moved to her shoulders as he pulled her to sit up and then let one travel to her neck and one to her face. His eyes fluttered shut and he pressed into her, hoping she would return the gesture and if she didn't that she wouldn't think he was wanting something else.
It had happened before, this kind of conversation followed by this behavior was usually taken differently than it was meant.

She looked at him and smiled gently. She nuzzled her nose against him then they moved into a kiss. Her eyes fluttered shut and she felt his hands travel from her shoulders to her face and neck. She felt him press himself against her and she pressed back as her hands reached up to wrap them around his neck. One of his hand traveled through his brown hair. She had never had such a mind boggling kiss like this before, but it felt so good. She wasn't going to go farther than a kiss though. She wasn't going to give herself away to him so easily or early into a relationship.

David smiled without releasing her but quickly returned to a serious expression as he asked a silent question yet again, parting his lips just slightly and running his fingertips over her cheek. Never had he felt so right with someone before. Of course, he'd kissed a lot of girls, but this was the first he'd ever meant it with. The first time he'd never wanted more than this and not gotten it. He knew she didn't want to let it go farther, and he was fine with that as long as she was safe and happy.
He let his hand travel to her back and waited for the answer to come.

She felt his lips part and she knew what he wanted. She was a bit hesitant because with her one other boyfriend they had never got that far with their kisses. She parted her lips and her tounge reached into his mouth and flicked his playfully before retreating back into her own mouth. She reached the hand that had been in his hair to his hand on her cheek and she grasped it softly and pulled it away from her face linking her fingers with his.

He returned her playful flick with his own, but sensing her discomfort, pulled away just after and looked into her eyes, squeezing her fingers with his, "You are a wonderful girl in so many ways." He kissed her nose and pulled his body away to lay on his back. His stomach rose and fell ever so slightly with each breath, his muscled chest moving as well. His arms rested on his stomach, her hand still in his and his knees bent upward, legs bending in an uncrossed A shape. He looked up at the stars and saw one moving toward the ground, pointing at it and following as it fell, making a wish and letting his arm fall back down.

Her eyes fluttered open as he pulled away. She smiled gently and gave him a soft peck on the lips. She scooted to him as he sat back down on his back and she laid her head on his chest softly looking up at the stars. She saw the shooting star and she smiled. She glanced at his hand that was pointing at it then closed her eyes and made her own little wish. A wish she always wished since her father started to work harder. She looked back to him smiling gently. "What did you wish for?" She asked sweetly, but she knew he wouldn't tell. That would just presumably keep it from coming true.

He smiled and shook his head, tapping her on the nose with his index finger, "Ah ah ah," he said, "I don't want it to not come true, and honstly I don't think you do either." He gave her a concerned look for just a moment before looking away quickly and tapping a beat out on the roof quietly. His lips mouthed a song silently before the sound drowned away and the words left his memory.
He turned to look at her, "It's getting late." he said, "And as much I don't want to go find a place to stay tonight, I think it's best I don't sleep up here on the roof outside your bedroom."

She smiled gently and giggled softly. She took his hand and kissed it softly before letting it go. She looked at him questioningly "What's that supposed to mean?" She asked as she sat up looking at him questioningly. She pulled her knees upward and leaned forwards crossing her arms over her knees then resting her head ontop of them as she looked up to the stars then to him frowning softly. "How come you didn't tell me you weren't stay with your parents anymore?" She asked curiously as she tilted her head softly and laid it on her arms like that waiting for an answer.

David sat up too, sitting his arms on his legs in the same manner as her. He looked everywhere but at her and said in a sad and somber voice, "Because I was afraid you would think I was running away from something or that I wasn't good material because I didn't have a real home." His eyes were suddenly downcast and anxious, "I was afraid you wouldn't give me a second glance."
His hands clenched, flexing his muscles involountarily but with a great effect. He released them and let them fall to hold his weight up.

She lifted her head and tilted it gently. "I would never think such things about you David. If you haven't noticed my family's not much better. At the rate he's going it'll seem like he's married to the office instead of my mom." She said gently looking up at the sky. She shivered softly as a cool breezed blew past them. She reached a hand out and she gently pushed his face to face him.
"I could care less where you live, David. The thing that I care the most about is that you mean the things you tell me." She kissed him sweetly on the forehead then leaned hers against his. looking him in the eyes.
