"New York City is a nice place, I've been there maybe two or three times. I'd love to live there, since it's a lot easier to spend a lot of money fast then it is here." He said and knew that by now she must have noticed that spending money was a passion of his. It ranked right up there with parties and flirting with good looking females. He listened to the assistant mumble something about MacKenzie's manners and he made a face behind her back. Apparently that assistant didn't know that doing something like that was a very easy way to lose a good customer. He knew that if something like that happened to him he probably wouldn't go back in a store unless he was sure that the person he was annoyed with wasn't there. He'd done that too one time he was in another mall and one of the assistants at a store had asked him why he had a credit card since he was a little too young to have one. He'd told him that he was going to take his business elsewhere and then he left the store.
"I don't have anywhere that I want to go so it's basically all up to you." He said and then grinned back at her. "So, just out of curiosity did you ever think about getting a tattoo?" He asked since in a way, he could somehow see her getting one to make her parents mad at her. That had been part of the reason why he'd gotten one the other reason was because he'd wanted to prove to people that he could do it even when all of the people knew that he was only sixteen.

"Yeah, I adore NYC," she told him, "I've always felt most at home in big cities."
Ryan seemed so similar to her in so many ways, and she liked that, because it meant she was comfortable being herself around him. She was genuinely excited at the prospect of partying with him, he seemed like someone who knew just how to have a good time.
"I'd love a tattoo, yeah. My Dad would be so mad, which would be entertaining. I'd quite like something pretty and feminine. What about you? Do you have one? MacKenzie asked, as she picked up her bags and got ready to leave the store.

"I love the big cities too but it's always nice to just come home to this small one. My mom actually started going into labor while she was shopping at some expensive store. I'm thinking that might be the reason why I love spending money, especially someone else's." He said and knew that his mom got to spend other people's money in her line of work. He could remember being on a trip to Florida and his mother seeing some three thousand dollar decoration that she said she needed to have for somebody's house or something like that. But now that he thought about that he really didn't know what either of his parents did since he never had asked them for some reason. He listened to what she said about loving to have a tattoo, well he could help her with that too. Since at the place where he'd went to get his a son of a family friend had been hired there. It made him wonder what his parents thought about their son being a tattoo artist. He bet that they were not too happy about it.
"Well, it just so happens that I do have one." He said and then rolled up the sleeve of his shirt on his right arm to reveal the simple single strand of barbed wire that was slightly above where his t shirt cut off. "But if you want something feminine I've seen people with butterflies and things like that." He said, in a way he could actually imagine her getting a small butterfly tattoo that was "new" at the shop. He'd actually went in there a few days ago just to think about the possibility of getting another.

"I love spending other people's money, especially my father's" she added, laughing.
She had thought about getting a butterfly tattoo in the past, but now that Ryan had suggested it, she wanted one even more. It wasn't just that it would be a spontaneous thing to do, or that it would be pretty - she knew it would drive her father mad and there wouldn't be anything he could do about it. She adored making her father angry, it entertained her greatly to watch him hurt.
"A butterfly was my first idea," she laughed, "Perhaps in pink and black. Ooooh I want one now! Sorry, I tend to act on the spur of the moment!"

"Well, my parents have a joint banking account so I get to spend both of their money at the same time. Well, kind of anyway because they have separate credit cards and my mom never lets me use hers." He said and knew that it was a lot easier to make his mom mad then his dad and he figured that she was keeping her credit cards from him so that he couldn't get her mad by racking up a ton of charges on it. His dad just thought that kids would be kids and not to mention, he'd admitted that he was the same way. If it wasn't for his mother then he probably would have access to the credit card all of the time with his father's permission. But then he wouldn't have the joy of knowing that he was doing something that his parents didn't like. He had to be good when they were around though because they controlled the money and they'd made it clear that they could take his car away and that would just be the end of it for him. So when they were around he did everything to try and make them happy. Luckily they were home once a month at the most.
"Spur the moment is fine with me, since that's how I tend to do things at times. But, if you really want to there place where I got mine is just down the street, near the boardwalk. I could probably get a discount so my dad wouldn't even notice. I could just tell him that I went in to get mine touched up or something." He said and then wondered what the gossip column would have to say about that if they knew a girl got a tattoo on his dad's credit card. He wouldn't mind if she decided to get one right away because he knew that it wouldn't take long.

"Sounds good. I'm up for it now!" MacKenzie laughed playfully.
Part of her couldn't believe she had decided to do this right now, but she was excited about doing something new, new experiences rocked her world.
"To be honest my father will only go mad if he actually notice, which considering his record lately, isn't that likely. He's too busy with his new girlfriend to notice me. She's about half his age, it's gross," she smiled.
She turned around and began heading for the exit of the mall, motioning for Ryan to follow her.
"Near the boardwalk, you say?" she said, winking at him, "We'd better get going then."

"It took my parents a long time to notice that I got a tattoo. And then when they did they didn't really get mad at me they were just like, alright that's fine. But that was one of the weirdest reactions I've ever seen from them" He said, in a way he kind of felt sorry for her because when his parents were home they actually would notice him most of the time. But he knew how it felt too be lonely and it was a feeling that he had became used to after having his parents gone so much and having the huge house all to himself. The thing that he couldn't stand was when it was really windy or storming out because it kind of creeped him out to be in the house all by himself. It was on nights like that when he tended to drink a little too much and wake up the next morning. Now he wasn't sure if he did that on purpose or not but that just seemed to happen most of the time.
"You don't have to be in a rush to get there. Since it's only going to take us about thirty seconds to get there. That is, if you let me drive us there." He said and then pulled his car keys out of his pocket. "Nobody else has ever driven my car but me, not even my dad." He said and knew that she probably find the car satisfactory because his parents did not have a cheap taste in things.

"Most of the time my parents are too busy arguing to pay attention to anything else. You drive? I haven't learned yet. What kind of car do you have?"
She realised she was talking at a million miles an hour and stopped to think for a moment. In just a short while she was going to have her first tattoo... she couldn't wait.
She smiled at Ryan and thought about how lucky she was to have run into him today. Finally she had someone fun to hang out with, and this summer would hopefully become a little more interesting.
Not only that, but she couldn't quite get over just how cute he was, and how willing he was to spend money on her, which, let's face it, were her ideal qualities in a guy.

"You don't know how to drive yet? As in you don't have your license or you really don't know how to? Because if you don't know how to then I guess that I could take you out and let you drive my mom's old car sometime if you promised not to wreck it. Because I don't think she'd take to letting somebody who didn't have their license drive it." He said, he didn't think that she'd end up crashing it. The only reason why he'd actually have to be worried if she did is that his mom had the power to take his car away if she thought he was a reckless driver or something. Well, technically he was kind of a reckless driver because he never went the speed limit but he didn't cut people off or do other things like that. "If I told you what kind it was then you wouldn't be surprised. Besides, we'll have time for small talk while you're getting that tattoo of yours." He said before winking at her for some reason unknown to him.
The first tattoo that you got was something rather special, especially if you were doing it for the reason that she was. He was happy to foot the bill on that besides, he liked her. Not that he was really interested in her romantically because he didn't want to ruin the relationship they were building. But, he did know that the chances were high of him ending up kissing her by the end of the day.

"Oh, I just don't know how yet. I've not really got around to learning properly, but I've been out driving a couple of times now."
She smiled at him and wondered if she was letting on to the fact that she mostly just wanted to spend more time with him. She hoped not, surely she wasn't that easy to read. For the first time in a while, she had met a guy she genuinely got along with and was also attracted to. Though she wondered if he just saw her as a friend, and a friendship with Ryan wouldn't be a completely bad thing either - it would be nice to have a new friend to party and spend money with.
So what was more important, she asked herself... a friendship or a new crush? She knew how she would end up answering that question - she was crazy about boys.

((Wrong account=me having a short amount of time to post))
"Ok, well I could probably teach you the proper way. But you wouldn't learn about how you're supposed to stay within the speed limit that's all." He said and then smiled at her, he wondered if she was trying to find a way to spend more time with him. He hoped that she knew all she had to do was say that she'd like to spend time with him since that was all it would take. They wouldn't even have to go shopping if she didn't want to they could just simply sit around the house. He was really flexible when it came to spending time with people. Just as long as they didn't make him play the piano for hours on end. Sure he could play it and he was good at it (but only because his mother made him take about ten or eleven years of lessons) he really didn't like playing it for long periods of time. Not to mention, nobody knew that he could play it besides his sister at school.
"Come on, let's get out of here it'll be fun to watch somebody else get a tattoo." He said and then resisted taking her hand, he was trying not to be interested in the fact that he knew she was very good looking. Besides, she probably knew his track record with girlfriends, he was never serious with them.

MacKenzie was beginning to get the impression that Ryan was interested in her. She knew perfectly well how attractive she was, and had a habit of leading guys on with her flirtatious nature, then dumping them instantly. As cute as Ryan was, he seemed like a nice enough guy and she didn't want to mess up their friendship too soon by showing her interest in him.
Regardless, she knew she wanted to see more of him. From what she'd heard around school about Ryan, he didn't seem like the type to commit to one girl, which, honestly, suited MacKenzie perfectly. She had only been in love once before, and that hadn't ended well - since then she had moved quickly from boy to boy, never settling for just one person. She didn't think it made her a bad person - she was just a realist.
"Yeah, let's go," she smiled, and almost subconsiously reached out her hand to grab Ryan's, before realising what she had done, and wondering whether to pass it off as reaching into her bag for her lip gloss.
((OOC: sorry for delay... had a busy few days.))

He watched as she appeared to be reaching for his hand. But maybe he was just wanting to think that so he was. Maybe she had been reaching into a bag for something? But still, he kind of hoped that she'd been doing that because if she had been then he would of let her hold his hand for as long as she wanted to. Well, he'd probably need both hands to drive but that would be it. "You know, that appreciates the top stores and does things all of a sudden like I do." He said and then looked at her, that wasn't what he had been planning on saying. But he'd decided that he was going to hold of really flirting with her, for now anyway. Things could be a completely different story in awhile. He pushed the door open and soon he was out on the parking ramp at the mall. It always amazed him how dark it was around here, even with the lights. He knew that once he got out into the sunlight again that he'd have to probably try and find some sunglasses or something because the sun was really bright today.
"My car isn't too far from here, I got a good parking spot." He said and then looked at her as he looked around for his car. He then spotted it and took a few steps before waiting for her to follow him.

MacKenzie moved her hand backwards, as Ryan didn't appear to have taken the hint and she didn't want to embarrass herself.
Suddenly she realised that she had never been shy around guys in the past... what was different about this one?
Smiling, she decided to take action, and be honest with him. "You know Ryan," she said, "You really are very cute."
Unsure of what his response would be, or indeed what she expected his response to be, she made eye contact with him a second, before flicking her hair and turning her head away, starting to walk towards the car.

((-flicks self in forehead- I left out like...half a sentence in that last post. No more near bedtime rping for me.))
He watched as she moved her hand back and once again he wondered if he should have taken it. He'd never really thought about things before so why was he doing it now. With any other girl if they would have got their hand so close to his he would have immediately taken it. Her next words surprised him a little, apparently she was a lot bolder then he had originally thought. He watched as she stated to move toward his care before he could reply and he quickly caught up with her. "You know, I've been told that a time or two. But, I must admit that you're rather cute yourself. And you're definitely one of the cutest girls in our grade, and perhaps the whole school." He said and then moved a little closer to her. "You know, if for some reason you feel like holding hands I really don't mind. At least, I don't mind if you do if it was some other girl I might not let them." He said and then stopped about five feet away from his car.
He honestly had expected his parents to buy him a less expensive car since he had figured that they wouldn't trust him. But, it turns out that you couldn't always believe your expectations. Since his parents had bought him the flashy Jaguar and told him that they hoped he'd be happy with it. "I really hope that you didn't think my parents had bought me some cheap little car." He said and then looked over to her again before smiling. He really did smile a lot around her.
