it all began, when things in a science lab began to go wrong. the lab was located in Pheonix, Arizona, when all of the scientists began to turn science over in their hands, starting with mice, rats and a few birds. They dwitched DNA with the rat and bird, and they then switched the DNA between the mouse and bird; they were medling with basic, but fragile science. they began to take their experiments elsewhere, and they would come back either empty handed or they just wouldnt return--what had gone wrong? some say that what they were doing, had backfired and killed the test-subjects, others say it went right, and they killed them in the end. who would love an animal that was never accepted into society anyways?
things began once more, for the scientists, when one man named Jacob Collins, came in with a struggling nine year old girl in his arms. he had an idea, an idea that would bring the runaways safely into their protection and a way to start looking at science a whole new way. those that were intrigued, signed up under Collins' way, others that didnt, left, sworn into secretcy on the pane of death. They took the girl, and some mice DNA that they had duplicated, and transferred it into the girl. she showed signs of early mouse habits, and then the changes began. she was only nine years old, when they created the first mouse-human DNA fusion.
she lived through it; Collins was congratulated. he went to one of the head scientists in the world, and explined to him the DNA fusion he had in mind. the head scientist, furious, forced Collins to kill the girl, and shuit his lab down. Collins, equally furious, handed the girl over to a colleauge, and shut his lab down. the girl suffered three years of mouse habits, before she died. the mouse in her had lived its life, and she was done too. Collins wasnt finished yet though. three years of slow planning, and easy steps, they re-opened the lab as a boarding school, and named it Greyhorn, after the African Rhino.
Greyhorn opened quietly in Arizona, but not as one would expect. the scientists would go out nightly, and look for "students" they could take without doing harm to a family. usually, these "students" were runaways, they found on the street, or orphans they've "adopted" in orphanages. these kids were taken out of their homes or off the street to be brought into the boarding school. now, there really wasnt any grades--it was built to look like a decent boarding school on the outside, but on the inside, it was a lab. metal ceilings with cameras everywhere, a starcase here and there, doors...
Collins was named Headmaster, while his scientists buddies and hired help were teachers or professors. Collins was making millions from the school and its "secret" funding. He brought the children in to the school, and began his wild DNA fusion. life was good for the scitentists and the headmaster, until a few un-transfused children escaped. they leaked to the news about what they were doing at the "school" and how they needed to be stopped.
Collins blackmailed a few important people, to allow him to contune what he was doing; the news had leaked to the head scientist in Arizona. he continued this rough way of handling things, until he had some very important people under his control. Collins began taking control over the children and teenagers in his school, using them for pointless things, or exterminating them when their animal dna began to grow old.
Headmaster Collins, or lunatic Jacob Collins? find out, in:
