Ok, so he knew that Holly would be home in a matter of minutes so he had to hurry up with his morning routine. Would he normally just be waking up at eleven o'clock? No, but Josh had kept him up late last night so he hadn't woken up at five in the morning to go out running with Sean like he usually did. He wondered if his best friend would be mad at him for not showing up, Sean never got mad at him. He quickly got dressed before running out of his room and into the upstairs bathroom. After brushing his teeth at a rapid speed he ran downstairs in search of his shoes. It was there that he found Josh asleep on the couch, maybe he'd wake him up when Holly got here. Since if he couldn't go back to sleep then he shouldn't be allowed to sleep either. Since he was the one who had kept him up showing him all of those different plays and wanting his opinion on stuff. He was starting to think it was a bad idea for Josh to be the assistant coach of the football team. Sure he basically was a living legend at the high school for all of the things that he'd done for the teams. But he took his job very seriously, and he'd already proved that he wasn't going to put up with anything. Already some of the members of the team were complaining about things to him. But he couldn't tell Josh to lay off because he'd probably be doing the same things he was if he was the assistant coach.

He found his shoes next to the door and he put them on before trying to think of something else that he needed to do. "That has got to be the fastest that I've gotten ready in a long time." He said to himself as he waited for Holly to arrive.

After the last text from Branden she told her friend they had to go she wanted to go home because she just made plans with her brother so they put down the stuff they didnt want and bought what they did her friend paid because she had left her money in her room for odd reasons and they left the store and walked to the other side where they knew her friend had parked her car and down the stairs to the main level and walked out of the mall which was air-conditioned and it was really hot out that particular day and Holly was wearing a short skirt, baby blue tank top and pink flipflops she didnt feel like wearing sneakers.

Her friend unlocked the drivers side and got in unlocking holly's side and she got in as well and shut her door and turned on the airconditioner it was way to hot to not have it on in a car. They got to the front of Holly's and she got out and waited for her friend to drive off, she walked up to the door and went in the house to see Branden all ready to go, hmm he must've got ready quick she thought as she smiled at him, Hey Branden, just let me get different sandles and I'll be ready to go again she said running up the stairs and into her room to get her blue flipflops this time and ran back downstairs to meet branden in the front of the house Okay lets go, you can choose though she told him as she opened the door and waited for him to go out first.

She was letting him decide? Well, that could be a recipe for disaster at time, as in they'd end up going off to do something really odd. Like, seeing how many times they could walk around a store in an hour. Or they'd end up doing something a little on the dangerous side, such as going out in the woods to a spot where there was a slight cliff and jumping off of it and into the water fifty feet below. Although, normally Holly wasn't with when things like that happened, since he was a little protective of her. "Ok, well first off we're going to wake Josh up. If I woke up then he can too. Besides, he should be up by now, he's used to only getting a few hours of sleep." He said and then looked over at Holly and grinned. His eyes wandered over to where Josh was still fast asleep on the couch. There were many ways that they could get him up, they could either turn music up really loud, shake him until he was up (but that would take awhile), or roll him off of the couch. He would either go with his first choice or the third one if it was up to him. Holly was like his second partner in crime and he hoped that she wouldn't back out on him this time.

"And after that we can go do something. I'm out of ideas at the moment but that's probably because I'm not really fully awake yet. So I'll probably think of something really soon." He said and then watched as his puppy ran up to him. The chocolate Labrador puppy was only two months old. But he was still as hyperactive as the day that he got him of course, that was because he was still a puppy. "Hi Toby, no you can't come with us this time." He said and then bent down to pet the puppy. Toby was the only dog that was allowed to be in the house at night, the other four dogs got to sleep outside or in the garage. After petting the puppy for a few moments he picked up a ball and stood up before tossing it and watching as Toby took off after it. He then looked over at Holly to see what her opinion on everything was.

She smirked at his idea of waking josh up that usually wasnt a good idea but come on Branden and Holly together were always doing something random like that and she had an idea but didnt want to get in trouble for getting the couch wet but no harm in pointing out another idea on how to wake him up she looked at Branden well if your not scared of getting the couch wet we could dump water over top him and scram before he knows who did it? she asked putting her one and only idea out there in the open to add to his though good hers was better.

She watched as Toby took off after being petted by Branden the dog was spoiled and loved it though the parents hated spoiling him they did it for the kids, so between your ideas and my only one what exactly should we do to wake him up? she asked smiling to herself and well this is going to be fun she thought to herself looking from Branden to Josh hoping he would decide soon before Josh woke up on his own. Holly was mischevious along with her athletic ability she used towards torturing her brother Josh and others she just wanted to joke with.

Her idea was a good one but, getting the couch wet was out of the question. Since it would take a very long time to dry out and knowing Josh he'd blame it on them anyway since he'd probably know who did it. "Well, we should probably just roll him off of it. Since if we dumped water on it, he'd get mad, our parents would get mad, and Josh would probably just curl up and fall back asleep anyway." He said knowing that Josh could fall asleep anywhere and he'd done so on a few occasions. One time he'd found him asleep on the kitchen counter, he didn't even want to know how he'd ended up there though. He said and then made his way over to the couch and looked down at Josh. He probably would be angry for getting woke up, but they could just say that he'd rolled off of the couch himself. "Now, if you start to push his legs off I can probably get the rest. If he wakes up right away say that he rolled off. We were in the kitchen and we heard a thump so we came in here to investigate alright?" He said knowing that his plan wasn't foolproof, but it would have to do. Not to mention, Holly could play along and look really innocent so they could probably pull this off without any problems.

In a way, this could be payback for Josh keeping him up but it could also be payback for a few days ago. He'd just been falling asleep and Josh barges into his room making him wake up and yell. "By the way, if he asks tell him that I woke up hours ago." He said and looked over at Holly and smiled. He didn't want to give Josh the pleasure of knowing that he'd woken up a few hours later then he normally would.

As she listened that made sense Josh had a wierd way of blocking everything around him out and going back to sleep through anything that boy was wierd, she smiled at the idea of rolling him off she had her innocent face down right to the point so that was easy to pull of yea true he probably would just ignore the falling off and keep sleeping, she said as she walked over a bit closer to his legs and behind the couch so it would be easier to jump around the couch and pretend like she didnt do anything which she was good at, actually thats a better idea and hopefully pretending to investigate hearing a thump is believable by him right she said standing behind the couch and about ready to push Josh's legs waiting for the okay from Branden.

As Branden told her to say he woke up hours ago she had a good way of lying so it would be believable not a problem most of the time she had the puppydog eye look right down good so Josh was easy to fool anyway so she had no worry about him not believing her and branden anyway the guy slept through anything not too loud. She looked up at Branden okay count it and we push on 4 she said getting ready to push his legs from the position they were in.

"Ok, on the count of four then one..two...three...four" He said and then started pushing Josh was around six feet making him about two inches taller. And he wasn't the easiest person to push off of a couch. But, he watched as Josh slowly started moving off of the couch then he hit the ground. The noise echoed throughout the empty home. He then took a few steps back and a look of shock appeared on his face. He watched as Josh slowly started to open his eyes. Apparently he couldn't sleep through hitting the ground, he'd have to remember that. "I think that we've found what fell Holly." He said seriously and watched as Toby ran over and started licking Josh. The puppy had taken to Josh right away but that was only because he let the puppy curl up on the couch with him when nobody else was around. Since he'd walked in the house a few times and saw Josh sitting there watching t.v. with Toby sitting right next to him with his head resting on his knee. He'd actually managed to get a picture of it once so now he had something else to torment him with.

Josh had been been in a deep sleep but once hitting the ground he'd been abruptly brought out of it. Before he could say anything though Toby start licking him. He slowly sat up and then looked at Branden curiously how had he ended up on the floor? "Might I ask how I ended up on the floor? Since you must have been here when I fell off of it right? By the way, would you mind calling your puppy off. I don't want to be licked to death." He said as looked around the room, his eyes wandered over to the clock. He'd been asleep for about eight hours, but now he only had about an hour to himself before he had to gather his notes up and present them to the head coach. Since the first practice that the football team had the head coach couldn't make it so since he was the assistant coach he'd conducted the practice himself. He had several pages of notes for him, he'd made a few notes about Branden but he wasn't going to share those with him. Since he didn't want him to know how highly he thought of him since if word got around about what he wrote about him people then his reputation could be ruined.

As they pushed josh off the couch and pretended to come see tried her best to keep a straight face yea i think so, she said after and sat down on the couch and smiled at them both, You okay josh? she asked trying to keep a straight face still she had to pull of the little prank branden concoqeted before they went to do something she couldnt stand sitting around the house doing nothing so she stood back up and looked at him smiling you'll live from being licked by a dog she said with a small laugh waiting for him to get up and waited for branden so they could go.

Was he ok? He was amazed that was one of the first things to come out of Holly's mouth since he figured she'd be laughing right away. Because it wasn't normal for him to just roll off of the couch. "Yes, I'm fine. I'm covered in dog slobber but I'm fine." He said and then petted Toby for a few seconds before he slowly stood up and grabbed the notebook off of the coffee table. He didn't want Branden snooping through it and seeing what he'd written. "I might as well get ready to go anyway since I've got to present my notes to the head coach from practice the other day in about an hour." He said as he looked around for a moment. Toby was still trying to get him to pay attention to him but he'd play with him later when Branden wasn't around to watch him. "I suppose I will live but you didn't have Toby sleeping on your back so you couldn't roll over last night now did you? At least he got off of me after about ten minutes." He said and then turned and began to make his way up the stairs. "By the way Branden, if you see Anthony today tell him that I was highly impressed by him." He said and then made his way upstairs and into his room before he could try and see what was in the notebook.

Branden watched as Josh talked and when he picked the notebook up he knew what was inside of it. And he had to see what was written in it, but not today. Since Josh would know he'd be curious about it maybe Sean and him could borrow it from him later. Since he was sure that Sean would want to know what Josh's private thoughts were about the practice the other day. "Holly, we've got to see what's inside of that notebook. Not today, some other day when he leaves it out here. But I suppose that we can go now. Do you want to walk somewhere or have me drive?" He asked as he grabbed the keys to his truck. If he wasn't going to drive then he'd need them anyway since they contained the house keys. And he didn't want to dig around outside and try and find the spare key. Since that was what would happen if he got locked out of the house.
