As she was checking her emails she had one from her mother telling her that she should go for a walk like they had been told at the appointment the week before to see how well the pregnancy was going and how the baby was developing which by the doctors tone it was going as it should and she needed to keep exercising to keep it going like it should which manny was happy about so she replied saying she would right then and logged off her computer closing it, getting up she grabbed her cellphone and house keys and went into the kitchen grabbing a bottle of water, from the fridge.
Leaving the apartment locking the door behind her and leaving the building going towards the boardwalk wondering if she might run into anyone nice around Twin Lakes hoping she would she just kept walking along the boardwalk since her parents lived just over it and down a road abit deciding to go there for a little bit to see how they were and if her mom was taking her to her next appointment as well.

India had decided to go down to the boardwalk, she wasn't sure if she would meet anyone, but she wanted the fresh air. Well, that and the twins were extremely hyper today. She still had music stuck in her head from church that morning (she was in the choir) and was singing it as she walked. She smiled when she reached the boardwalk crowded with people and began to hum instead of sing.
She was just walking along minding her own business when she almost crashed into a girl, obviously younger. Luckily they managed to avoid a collision but India knew the polite thing to do would be to apologize. "Sorry about that" she told the girl with a smile, "I really should learn to watch where I'm going." She paused and then added, "I'm India Penski by the way."

She heard someone's obviously a girl's voice behind her saying sorry for something she didnt know what she turned around as the girl kept talking and said her name Hi, Im Manny Santos, she introduced herself as nice as she could So, how are you? she asked seeing as the girl was obviously in a better mood then manny was, though manny hated exercise.
She knew it would be a good idea then sitting around gaining more then baby wieght which she wasnt planning on keeping the wieght after she had the kid, she was still planning on keeping her baby and surprisingly her parents were supporting her decision instead of going against her will and making her give it up they even offered to help her and she took the offer, she looked over at the girl what were you humming ? she asked yet another question probably sounding ever so annoying and talkative she didnt care she just was trying to make some friends that wouldnt hate her or not hang out once they found out why she was in TL.

India grinned when the girl, Manny, introduced herself. "Oh, I'm good" India told her nodding, "How about you?" Manny didn't seem to be in the best mood, but India figured that it wasn't because of her or anything. It was a nice day out, the sun shining and everything, and so she wondered why the girl wasn't happy. It was exactly the kind of weather that usually made people positive.
"Oh, it was just a song from church this morning" India told Manny in response to her question, "It's called Lean on Me." She was glad the girl was talking to her, she was the first person she had met since moving to Twin Lakes. She knew she would probably make more friends once she had been here longer, especially when school started, but for now she was rather lonely.

She looked up as the girl was talking to her surprisingly seens how nobody talked to her since she arrived in Twin Lakes just a short while ago oh Im okay i guess she answered in reply to her question knowing the girl might sense something was wrong manny hated telling anyone why she had to start exercising more great after i tell her she wont hang out with me either she thought to herself and looked out across the boardwalk the sun made everything seem so much nicer then usual to her.
Sounds like a nice song she said meaning it truthfully she didnt go to church that often but she thought she might have to a little more then once every two months honestly manny just didnt enjoy the singing, talking as if you were perfect and so much better then others though it was true so you go to church often? she asked the girl probably going to hear a yes because she had just been humming a church song.

She heard Manny's reply and wondered why she seemed so down. Also she sensed that perhaps there was something Manny didn't say, but knew it wasn't really any of her business. "I like it too" India said thoughtfully, "It's pretty and it carries a good message." She smiled when Manny asked her if she went to church often. "Every week without fail" India answered, "My father's the minister, so it's kind of mandatory. I like it though."
"Do you go to church" she asked Manny, just because India had never seen her at her own church meant nothing. She looked around the song still stuck in her head, but she was managing not to sing or hum it aloud. She was just in such a good mood today, maybe some of it would rub off on Manny she thought happily.
