Katie pulled down the gravel drive into the barn area. She looked around though she didnt see Brandens truck....on the other hand...for some reason she realy didnt know what it looked like either. That didnt help She parked in front of the barn her flashy red vette standing out like llama in a herd of cows((lol)).Making her way inside she had to let her eyes adjust to the dark light of the barn. She could hear some birds flying above near the roof and a few horses.....making..horse noises? It was actually a bit relaxing and she grinned as she walked around looking for someone.
She found a girl that helped with the barn finally and talked to her about renting a horse for trail riding....They worked out the details and katie was led to a stall with a paint gelding named " ozzie" in it. She led him out with some help and .....somehow managed to get him saddled and bridled alright. She wore a pair of tighter jeans today and a white tank top...nothing big just normal they both had hollister tags on them but not the logo.
Taking the horse outside she realy had trouble for a while figureing out what to do...how to get on and ride...the horse figured that out....and dragging katie as she pulled on the reins standing beside him HE led HER over to a grassy area where he stood dormant eating as she tried to reason with it....she looked....out of place being katie.....But in a sort of picture perfect in the farm scene with her hair tied in french braids along her back.

Branden had been so focused on riding around in a grassy paddock that he hadn't even heard a car pull up. He was just riding around for a bit before he went off on one of the trials. He'd gotten here at exactly six thirty and he hadn't even had to say what horse he was taking. Since he always took the same one and he had ever since his uncle had brought the horse down to this farm a year ago. Star was a bay Thoroughbred colt who was just three years old but he was one of the most responsive horses that he had ever ridden. Which was saying a lot since his dad had got it in his head that he needed to be taught to ride at four years old. Of course he'd later found out that he'd tried to teach Josh how to ride but Josh had started crying because he was afraid of horses. That was something that he found utterly stupid how could his older brother be so afraid of a horse it wasn't like it was going to eat him or something. Then again, maybe some questions were better left unanswered.
"Easy Star, we'll go out on the trails in a bit. You're sure full of it today." He said and then finally took his attention off of the horse and over to a paint horse that was very familiar but what shocked him the most was the fact that Katie was on him. He knew that judging by how she was just letting the horse sit there and graze that she probably didn't know much about riding. So he might as well go over there and help her right? He just hoped that she wouldn't tell anybody about seeing him out here since that was just what he needed for people to know that he rode, yeah right. "Come on buddy, there's somebody you've got to meet." He said and then he sent the horse off at a brisk trot toward Ozzie and Katie. Star let out a rather loud whinny at the sight of the gelding. The two were across the aisle from each other so it was clear that the two were friends. He then stopped the colt a few yards away from where Katie was. "You know that if you give him a little nudge that he'll start moving right?" He said as he ran his hand through a part of Star's black mane.
There were only two people from school that knew that he came out here, Sean and his sister. Holly knew because she did ride every once and a while for laughs. And Sean knew because well, there was no way he could keep something from him. A couple of times he'd gotten Sean to ride with him but he hadn't been really excited about getting up on a horse. Although, now that he thought about it he had ridden Ozzie two times or so and Sean hadn't minded being on the horse because he'd been assured that the horse wouldn't throw him. "I was just about to go off on one of the trails but if you really wanted you could come along. I'd make sure that you didn't get lost of course Ozzie would probably just follow Star anyway." He said and knew that she could most likely tell by the way that he was talking that he came out here often.

Katie was still just talking away to the horse, not caring much about who heard but she couldnt get him to move sitting there looking as stubborn as katie did. She thought she felt eyes on her but didnt let it much bother her as she tried to tug the reins up only to get tugged down more she shook her head at the horse before looking up to see Branden right there.....Either he'd been here or he could saddle a horse quicker than anyone she knew(which wasnt many people). she looked a little confused..... When he said how to get ozzie moving she kind of thought "YEAH RIGHT" ......like he was just going to move like that mmmhhhmmmmmm? she'd tried everything this horse was not going ANYWHERE. but she thought she'd try it.
She squeezed her legs to the horses side nudging him a bit to see him pick up his head a bit and move forward....although only after letting out a loud whinnie over towards star that made katie a bit surprised. She grinned sheepishly and shrugged I knew that? she said trying to act like she knew what she was doing for now. She pulled back on the reins for now and sat back in the western style saddle. Her one hand ran through the horses mane lightly.
She grinned that'd be cool....hey i cn handle him.......im great with horses she said grinning but she realy couldnt pull it off and she knew that he knew she'd never ridden or not much it was basicallly obvious ok....so i dont ride........ was it that obvious?? she said chuckling lead the way cowboy she told him grinning and watching him The horse he rode seemed nice eneough and she reached her hand over leaning over in the saddle to pet him. She was totally amused by the whole thing and found it cool to be so high up and riding on the horse, it was written on her face, adn she looked like a kid in a candy shop.

He smiled slightly as he watched the way that she was around the horse. It was clear that she wasn't scared of them and he did have to admit she did look very natural up on a horse. Then again, maybe it was because of the fact that her hair was in French braids he didn't know. Maybe it was just his feelings for her coming out again or something. He listened to her as she said that she knew that and that she was great with horses and he couldn't help but laugh slightly when she admitted that she didn't ride. "Oh, it wasn't that obvious but normally you wouldn't wear such tight jeans riding. But I'll tell you something to cheer you up. Sean didn't know a thing about how to ride a horse either when I finally got him up on one a couple of years ago. He might have done the same things you did if I hadn't been with him. Of course he did ask where the brakes were on it but I think he was just being funny then." He said and then looked around for a moment, if she would accept his invitation then he'd take her off to where a lake was. There was a nice view out there and he hadn't been out that way in awhile.
"Oh yeah, like I'm a cowboy you don't see me riding with a cowboy hat do you? Even if the sun was out I'd just put a baseball hat on and be on my way." He said and then watched as she reached over and petted Star, the horse loved attention so now that she did that she'd probably just made a friend out of him. "Star likes you now, you do know that right? He likes it when people pet him and feed him carrots and mints." He said and then turned the horse toward the direction of the trail before looking back at her. "You'll get used to being so high up in a hurry. But if you turn Ozzie in my direction and give him a little nudge again he'll probably realize that he's going out and follow me." He said and then let Star take a few steps before stopping he wanted to make sure that Ozzie would follow Star and that things would go alright for Katie. Perhaps she'd come to like riding and maybe he'd actually have another person to ride with at times. Since riding alone all the time wasn't fun. Sure he wasn't hindered by another persons lack of ability but he thought that Katie would pick up how to ride a horse quickly.
The sun didn't go down for a few more hours so if Katie was up to it they could go on a very nice ride. Of course he knew that they wouldn't be able to go as far as he was planning but it would be nice to talk to her in private. He really hadn't been able to talk to her after being at the club with her. And a lot of things had happened that night he still couldn't believe that she had kissed him and that had kissed her back. Things had just been going so fast he had questioned if everything was real or not. But after thinking about everything he knew that something like that was real. "I really hope I know what I'm doing Star. If only girls could be as easy to communicate with as you are." He said quietly and patted the horses neck as he waited for Katie to catch up with him.

katie smiled as he spoke. She couldnt help but notice that he looked quite good atop a horse too......And she chuckled a bit at herself for it. She shrugged. The jeans she'd worn were just a pair of her " work " jeans on she hadnt thought that there was apparell for horseback riding.....she may just have an excuse to go out and go shopping later this week. mmmmmm yessss that was a reason right there. I didnt know what to wear. ...ya thats sean for you. NEVER a dull moment...... I could see him saying that
nawwww but you sure play out the rest of the tough guy look she teased smiling watching the horse under him. A bit...proud? of herself as he said that he thought the horse liked him. See she'd get the hang of this whole horse thing. she was pretty proud of herself. she smiled and followed him turning ozzies head and nudging him forward. She looked a bit stiff up on him so far but she was warming up to it. She knew she'd get it eentually and it was all new to her....She stated tthinking and she could see them riding more...she'd do it, it was fun. And being with him, she could only imagine it...... But that was Katie, and her attention turning to Branden, along with her feelings.
Katie realy wasnt sure where he was taking her and at the moment she realy didnt care. She was up for wherever he wanted to go ...Besides she realy wasnt familiar with all the woods adn stuff. She was ...well a city girl.....but she was a SMALL town city girl....She'd been moving around and around but only suburban towns...moving from school to school.....and guy to guy.....He was a little different. Her boyfriends were all outer shell. They didnt talk or not much They were an item and a center piece with one another.arm candy and whatnot. She heard him say something but not well. She didnt say anything in reply as he saw hiim pat the horse and figured he was speaking to star. And followed catching up beside him and star.

Things could be worse, she could have decided to try and go riding in a pair of flip flops or something. He hated it when tourists came out here and they didn't know a thing about riding. At least Katie seemed to know what she was doing now. It seemed as if most tourists really didn't care and were just getting up on a horse to say that they rode. Those kind of people made him very glad that he didn't work here because he just couldn't stand them. There only was one other type of person that made him more frustrated when it came to riding. The people who spent huge amounts of money on clothing and things and came out here expecting things to work out. Did they not notice that 99% of people didn't ride in three hundred dollar pairs of boots? Sometimes those people even bought fancy horses that they ended up ruining because they didn't know the first things about horsemanship. Then they'd drag the horse off to some expensive train to get him "cured" and the horse would do pretty good there but the moment it was home and in the care of its owner again it would just get ruined again.
"Things could be worse trust me, you should see some of the people that come out here. You just need to be in something other than tight jeans the next time that you ride." He said and then wondered if she really would ride again. He honestly hoped that she would, perhaps some day she'd actually be able to ride a horse that had a little more..pep. Ozzie was calm and collected but he really wasn't one for fast rides. Most of the time he was used for rides who were either really new to riding or hadn't ridden at all. "You are right about that things are never dull when he's around. You should have seen him when he saw a foal he was like, how could something so small grow up to be something so big." He said and then looked around for a moment before he spotted where they had turned out the foal that had been born about two months ago. It had lost its mother a few days after birth and had to be bottle fed. The filly still hadn't been named yet but perhaps Katie could think up a nice name for her.
"When we get back, you can see the little orphaned foal that's here. She'll probably be put back in the barn soon but she's a sucker for company." He said and then let Star start to walk again after he was sure that Katie had gotten the hang of things. "Oh and by the way, I'll take having the whole tough guy look down as a complement. Just don't say anything to people at school about me riding because that probably wouldn't go over so well." He said before looking ahead at the trail again he'd always wanted people at school not to know about him riding because he knew that he'd probably be bothered about it by somebody. Since a lot of people thought that riding was "girly", when really there were a ton of guys that rode often. His dad did get out to the stables often when he was able to sneak away from work. Although he hadn't been out here when his dad was in quite some time. But right now that wasn't what was bothering him he was thinking about when would be the right time to ask Katie out.

She was quite proud of herself finally getting part of the whole riding thing down....She wasnt realy worried about if anyone saw her screw up right now as she was focused on riding the horse the right way....and branden. She knew that it was easy to tell that she didnt come out often....that she didnt ride often....Heck she didnt ride at all. But it was a new experience. And by the way that he was talking to her she was beginning to guess that he didnt mind the companionship that she was offering. So far so good. She was having fun and if he wanted her to come out again....or not, she'd probably still come back out. noted she said grinning and nodding. next time im bringin a hat though she said grinning. The sun was still out and as bright as ever and it was still hot out. And besides that she wasnt used to being this high up by all the branches of the trees and such.
She grinned well im with him on that one, for how small they look as babys i cant believe that they grow SOOO much she told him patting ozzie beneath her. Ozzie was as calm and collected as the moment that she'd brought him out of the stall. And because of the fact that this was her first time riding ever she was just fine with that. awww that'd be cool i love them when the'r that small....not that i dont love you ozzie she said laughing and stroking the old paints neck. as he lumbered along beside star and Branden. When he talked about school and the compliment she couldnt help but laugh well as you should i guess. Thats what it was meant as at least.....and i wont tell if you dont tell she said grinning. Though horseback riding was cool She could only imagine what everyone on the squad would think if she went to school and they heard she'd been riding. To a lot of the girls that seemed "slobbish" and just plain dirty and unpleasant. But though katie'd always listened ot the stories they'd had about it she'd come anyways and fount it to be relaxing mabey a little romantic ridng with branden but there she went again....
She could see though that he worried about his image too and respected that.....It was just another one of those things taht didnt need ot come out...like the cemetary thing. Something that happened but was between them and just them. ....And sean but that was sean he seemed to be a part of everyones life. Thinking of sean she thought of their conversation the other day. No matter how much she thought about it it seemed that she was still a bit dumbfounded by it all. If he did ask her she knew she'd be just as surprised....

"Well, I would loan you one but I left mine in my truck. Of course, I probably still have hat head from it but it's not like there's a mirror or something out here." He said before grinning as he played with a strand of hair from Star's mane. "You'll probably get used to being so high up and the feeling of riding the more you do it. But, I usually come out here once or twice a week so the next time I do come out here I probably could give you a call if you feel like doing this again." He said and then wondered if she knew the fact that all this time he'd been thinking about how to ask her out. He'd just decided that he'd do it once they got to the lake that he was taking them to. It had a nice view out there and it was really quiet. Not to mention the lake was about five to ten minutes off right now so he'd have a little bit more time to think then if he would have taken her somewhere else. He just hoped that once they got out there that she wouldn't sense how nervous he was before he asked her.
"Yeah but think of a giraffe or something when they're born they are a lot bigger. But I suppose that I'm just used to being around horses since I guess my dad decided to introduce me to them when I was four." He said and then looked over at Katie, he wondered if she was the type of girl who had always wanted a horse when she was growing up. He'd always thought that all girls were like that at some time or another. And some never grew out of that wanting. "She's really small for a foal this age. Don't worry, I'm sure Ozzie appreciates you being on him because most people probably pull on the reigns and nudge him too hard and things like that." He said and then reached over to rub Ozzie's neck for a moment. "By the way don't take the tough guy compliment back when you hear that I stayed up for a whole day bottle feeding that foal when her mother died." He said and knew that she probably wouldn't take it back but she'd probably go 'aww' or something like that.
"Oh, and by the way remember how I was telling you that Josh wanted that assistant coach position? Well, I just heard that the assistant coach wants to watch his coaching abilities before he decides anything. Meaning that he wants to make sure Josh doesn't rip any heads off, and he isn't going to. Besides you see Mark and him think that it's deja vu because Sean and I have the same exact positions as they did." He said before looking at her, did she really want to hear all of this? But it all was just coming out anyway, he wasn't mad at Josh for wanting the coaching spot it just was nobody seemed to realize the fact that it just seemed weird that his brother would probably be one of the coaches. "And you probably know that Josh led the team to two state championships. I think you were around then because he's not that much older than me." He said and then he thought of something that would either make her laugh or she would take it seriously. "If you really want to sound "in the loop", start calling tryouts casting calls." He said and then looked up, he could see the lake and knew that they were probably about fifteen seconds away from it now.
Those fifteen seconds went by a little too quickly for him and he slowed Star once they were on the beach by the lake. Then he rubbed Star's neck for a moment before looking over at Katie. It was now or never as far as he was concerned if he put this off any longer he might not ever ask her out. He then took a shaky breath and then decided that he'd better start now. "Katie, I know that we both admitted that we had feelings for each other before but...well, I don't know about you but I can't keep it at just that. I know you might not think this but you're different than all of the other girls who admitted they had feelings for me in awhile. They forced themselves on me, dragged me around, and I could go on and on but that isn't the point." He said before stopping, he silently prayed everything was coming out right. "The point is, unlike all of those other girls you actually make me happy. And you might not believe what I'm about to say but..will you go out with me." He said and then felt his confidence sway a bit, what if she turned him down or worse, what if she started laughing and then started calling him names? At least he'd said it so now hopefully things would go his way.
((A lot of dialog in that rp..but I decided to speed things up a bit))

She laughed thats ok ive always refused to wear any hats but my cheerleader unltd. hats she admitted. A thing that she'd started as a yunger kid when she started cheerleading. It was the only hat she wore.....she'd never actually bought another one and it was pretty worn actually but Katie never seemed to mind adn the other girls on the squad didnt mind much either they left her alone about it and let the subject go after a while. She laughed looking at him nawww as good as it always looks she said with a smile watching him as she patted ozzie happy with the horses pad for now...just takin it one step at a time. When he talked about coming out again she was a bit thrilled he'd asked her and nodded id like that......to tell you the truth....I got the FYI from sean she said letting her cheeks go red a moment as she blushed. But she coldnt help it. She wasnt after him or anything but heck she thought riding in itself would be fun whether he showed up or not and if he did then that was a bonus...well a big bonus.
she nodded and shrugged i always thought my dog was big let alone anything else....i wasnt exposed to animals much she told him My dad got me a dobermin when i was seven and she died about a year or two ago but that was the only pet i ever had....except for the baby racoon but my parents found out about that pretty quick she said laughing remembering the time her and a few of the guys that she'd been hanging out with snuck the racoon into her room and her mom found it after the room was torn up sitting in katies bed with her other stuffed animals. awww well that only makes you tougher in my eyes.....most guys wouldnt do that she said smilng over to him
When He started talking about the team she actually seemed interested. Katie liked to keep tabs on what happened with the teams at school she could usually relate or put in her two sense about anything that went on and she could only laugh at this news because she somewhat knew Brandens brother and thinking about him COACHING the team was a big step taht she was ......thinking was quite funny. like ive said this year is going to be very interesting.....dont worry if they get too tough us cheerleaders will destract them for you guys she teased riding alongside him on ozzie the horse ust mosying along looking as if he'd done this hundreds of times before...which he probably had. She started laughing again something she was doing a lot today but that was ok with her, it was more than ok it was great. thats actually a good point dont get too big a head though she teased laughing looking towards teh lake as it came into sight.
She looked at him and he looked a little nervous and for a minute she realy wondered why but.....as surprised as she was when Sean told her what was going on she was just as surprised now. She listened as he spoke a surprised but soft look was on her face. She smiled when he said that she made him happy. That in itself, that small bit of information was all that she needed to know She moved ozzie closer closing the space between them and kissing his cheek lightly no.....I think ill believe you she said smiling I'd....Realy, like that she told him and smiled looking to the lake. It was almost like something out of a fairy tale and Katie was always into all that omantic stuff out of the ordinary...sure if he'd asked like anyone else just at the house or online or talking at school or something it'd be great but he made it all the better in the situation they were in. And she knew she wouldnt forget it.

"Really, well I'm sorry but I don't have any of those laying around." He said and knew that she was a little bit like him then except for he had one pair of sunglasses and that was the only pair that he ever wore. Of course he could never find a pair that he actually liked so that might also have something to do with it. "Well, you've probably seen how messed up it gets after games though." He said and them looked over at her, it was kind of a given that when you played sports that you'd end up with bruises and getting your hair completely messed up. It made him wonder how the cheerleaders kept their hair so perfect even though they were flipping around. He just figured that they used a massive amount of hair spray. "Really, well remind me that I have to thank him then." He said and wondered what had made Sean decide to tell her that he came out here. Oh well, things had worked out and now they were enjoying a nice, calm ride. If things hadn't worked out then he might have had to poke Sean and maybe tell Cassidy some embarrassing stories about him.
"Yeah, horses are probably the biggest thing that I've been around. There's actually five dogs at my house right now but only two of them spent the night inside. There's my puppy Toby, and then there's my dads oldest dog Daisy who gets to stay inside because she's eleven years old and he likes her to be inside even though their pens are inside of the heated garage." He said and wondered if he'd ever told her that his dad had gotten a new puppy and decided to give it to him to try and train. It wasn't that hard to do, of course Toby was a quick learner and he didn't seem to get as distracted as other puppies would. Then again, he'd had the puppy since he was eight weeks old and the puppy realized that he had to listen pretty quickly. Although he wished that the puppy would sleep on the floor at night but nope, Toby insisted that he had to sleep on his bed. He wondered how long it would be before the dog was put out into the garage to sleep at night. Since he was sure that the puppy wouldn't take to that very well. "I had a turtle once, until it ran away on me. I had it for like a day before it decided that it didn't like our yard anymore." He said and knew that there was no way he probably would have gotten close to a raccoon. He'd gotten a little too close to one when he was little and it had took a step toward him and well, that was the end of that he'd ran back into the house.
"Well I had to, everybody else was busy and I was the only one who didn't have anything to do for the next twenty four hours. There's actually a picture in the barn of me asleep sitting against the stall wall with her head on my lap fast asleep." He said and knew that she'd probably seen it or if she didn't then she probably would look around and find it. While he listened to Katie talk he pulled a piece of straw out of Star's mane that he must have missed while he was getting him ready. "I'd like to see you distract him when he's so focused on the game or giving directions. He told me not to have any plans for tomorrow. I don't know what that means but I hope it doesn't mean what I think I does." He said and then looked over at Katie. "As in, he wants to see how I hold up against him. Which means that if you're up for some entertainment I'll probably get dragged off to the football field." He said and then wondered if that was what Josh was planning, it wouldn't surprise him if it was. Since it seemed to him that Josh was itching to get out onto the field, even if it was just for an hour or so. "Don't worry I'm not going to go and get a huge ego just because of something like that." He said and then laughed slightly before moving Star a little closer to Ozzie to avoid a overgrown bush.
A rush of relief passed over him when she said that she'd like that. He was taking that as a yes and he felt all of the nervous energy that he'd been giving off dissolve. "Well, that's a good thing because you do know that's the first time I've asked a girl out in ages." He said and then leaned over and kissed her back before moving Star a little farther away and then dismounted in one swift movement. "I figured that you'd want to walk around for a bit. Since you've got to be getting sore from sitting up there for so long." He said and a split second later he was knocked forward slightly by Star shoving his nose into his back.

She laughed shaking her head yeah but thats all the football players that look like that so dont feel bad about it she teased. They all had sweaty messed up hair.....and to be quite honest the cheerleaders...Katie at least found it quite attractive more than when guys spent hours in the bathroom working on their hair like a girl. Though she realy wasnt sure why the cheerleaders hair didnt mess up....They did so much stuff that youd think it did....mabey some people used hair spray...Katie wasnt one to do that though, it made her hair flat and hard and she liked her "wispy" light hair.
FIVE dogs? you have that many? wow you'll have to show them to me sometimes, i love dogs she told him . Though she didnt know anyone who loved them that much to have five of them. Of course Katies dad had said no more after her dobermin he wasnt a animal person....he liked fish though and they had a large coy pond in the back yard that he was quite into. Her eyes lit up though finding out he had so many...and a puppy? wow what she wouldnt give to have her dobe as a puppy again.
well that was very sweet....ill find that picture she said grinning She could see it now though him sitting there with the 'foal" a term that she'd heard for the first time actually. It seemed like one of those things that you'd see on a post card or somethin and it made her grin grow more. She listened to him talk about his brother and the coaching thing more and laughed dont tempt me she commented if your right the last thing you'll need is me ...and probably sean sitting there laughing she teased it would be quite the sight and she knew it'd be fun to watch.....though she almost felt bad for him.
She saw him somewhat "untense" and seem to relax and knew he'd been as nervous as she'd been being. She looked over to him ya i know, im flattered she said holding back a small laugh but she did look somewhat proud. Not that she'd been the first girl to get his attention like some would like....but because she'd been the one that he picked or liked that much. She watched him get down unsure why he did for a moment but then she got it your probably right.....and yes i am she said taking a little more time to get down stretching for a moment...she was soar from riding and she knew she'd feel it in the morning. She chuckled and watched him and star looks like someone wants you to move she said grinning walking again

"I'm not worried about it, but what annoys me is when you'll see guys messing with gel and stuff right before a game. It's not like anybody is going to care if every little hair is perfect." He said and thought about the people that complained if they got one little scratch on them or something. It made him wonder why those people played sports were they forced to or something? The only time that he really complained was if somebody tripped him or something. If somebody had a right to complain it was the people who got ripped to shreds while playing. Like the first game of the playoffs in basketball last year the team they were playing had been really viscous. They'd pushed people and drawn blood from several of the players and for awhile the referees didn't even seem to notice. They only really started to notice when one of the players ended up getting a long cut on their arm that everybody noticed. After that things had been slightly better and they had won by a decent amount but he still was a little ticked at the referees at that game.
"Yeah well, they're all hunting dogs not that my dad takes all of them out at once. Some of them are strictly for duck hunting, some are only used for bird hunting and so on. But Daisy, that's the oldest dog is retired so now she gets to spend her days doing whatever she wants." He said and then he tried to remember if he had told somebody to let Toby out while he was gone. "Well, if you remind me I'll show you them..sometime. The good thing about having so many dogs is you can take a different one out jogging with you every day. Of course that's only when I'm only going out for a mile run or so. None of them go with me when I'm out for a five mile jog or something." He said and knew that she probably had known something like that. He didn't know many people who even took their dogs on mile long runs. But he'd always wondered what Sean thought of him bringing a dog on a run with them.
"I'm sure that you'll find it but remind me to never let you get ahold of old photo albums. As in I know for a fact that Sean wouldn't want you to see the picture of me and him curled up on the couch asleep from a couple of years ago." He said and knew that she probably wanted to see it now. But she wasn't going to, he knew where that album was and every time somebody came around who he knew would probably want to see it he moved the album to another spot so that nobody could find it. "Trust me, Sean wouldn't be laughing because he probably realizes that if Mark wasn't laid up at the moment that he'd get dragged into it. And before you know it things would be Sean and me against Josh and Mark. Besides, you probably wouldn't laugh you'd probably be in awe watching a very heated battle going on." He said and knew that Josh probably was expecting him to somehow get a few friends over there to watch and provide moral support. But still, knowing Josh he'd get a bunch of his friends to go over there and watch things unfold. And he'd feel just a bit nervous if it was just him there and there were a ton of Josh's friends there.
He watched as she dismounted, he could tell that she was sore just by how long it had taken her to get down from Ozzie. "Either that or he thinks that I'm going to play tag with him out here. But I'll place my bets on the fact that he wants to go play in the water." He said and knew that Star had been known to walk into the lake up to his neck with people on his back. He hadn't been one of those people but he always found it funny when people came back after riding Star and they were soaked. That probably was the reason why they didn't allow people use Star that were from out of town anymore. Not to mention he knew that they didn't want Star to learn any bad habits from people letting him get away with things. Which made him wonder why they'd let a couple of people take him out before they decided to stop him from being "rented".

(keeping it up to date a little i get confused lol when its like ten minutes in and between lol) She laughed and nodded ya the guys that do that drive me up the wall too....theres no pint in it...and if they think theyre impressing people they should look in the mirror when they're all sweaty and their gels running down their face she teased. She could remember a few times going up to the players to talk and there it was just running down their face like globby sweat.....and sh just wa.keedddddd away.
thats cool, i run a lot but usually by myself, keeps me calmed down, and lord knows i need it with parents like mine she said shaking her head. She knew her parents were thinking of moving.....but she had to push the thoughts away for now, she was just starting this with Branden and she was happy, she didnt want that torn away right now, and she knew he didnt either. She pushed the thought out of her mind before she knew he'd see her upset look and put on her regular bright face, her problems were gone for now, she was happy to be out here with him.
She grinned and walked beside him thinking of what he'd said before your probably right i'd be watching with my jaw dropped she said grinning. She looked over at hi and smiled, he'd finaly asked her it seemed like it was just how it was supposed to be. And being out here, seh couldnt be happier. he likes the water? she asked. She'd heard of horses going in water...like on the beach rides and stuff on tropical beaches but she never thought they liked it. But then again that was probably just cats......she wasnt sure. She smiled and watched him before lookng to the lake ahead of them as she walked along the lake she'd never even known that all this was out here.....It was pretty cool to her though the other girls on the squad probably didnt htink so. AS they walked beside the horses she let her free hand intertwine with his her amsll form looking even smaller beside the large horse but she looked as bright as ever if not more, she felt as if she was beaming

He knew that a lot of people who showed up would probably be watching with their jaws dropped. Because he knew that most of them probably thought that that they were just out because they were bored or something. A few people would know the true reason why Josh had decided to drag him out to the field. He knew that Josh wanted to really test him and see just what he could do. Things would probably go on until one of them decided to call it quits because they were too tired. Well, he wasn't going to be the one to stop because he was tired. Sure he knew that Josh hadn't decided to get lazy and that he probably was in the same condition that he'd been in during high school. So things certianly would be pretty interesting or at least that was what he thought. He just hoped that the football coach didn't get wind of what was happening. Of course he didn't think that Josh would call him up just to tell him something like that. It just wasn't his style and he hoped that hadn't suddenly changed.
"Yes, Star loves the water sometimes when I'm just riding him bareback and without any tack I'll let him go swimming. He's pretty spoiled of course you've probably figured that out already." He said and then felt Star turn his head and nudge his arm before snorting. He knew that the colt wanted, the last time that they'd been out here he'd played tag with him. So now Star probably thought that he'd do that again. Well, he would but then again he wasn't so sure that Katie would want to watch. He knew that she wouldn't be like some girls and start drooling or something at the sight of him running around with Star. But still, if word got out about any of this happening. (Well, besides him asking her out.) Then he knew that he'd probably be ruined, it wasn't that he didn't trust Katie because he trusted her a lot. But he wasn't used to people actually watching him when he rode and did things with Star such as playing tag and things. "I know what he wants, he wants to play." He said as Star nudged him again.

katie grinned and watched him. He seemed to be thinking and she actually was too. Though not on the same subject. She wasnt sure how or when she'd tell him about her dads big plan, mabey she'd discuss the gameplan a bit more with sean....Though she wasnt sure, She didnt want to say anything righ now though, not until things were "official" and lord knows that it had only been talk so far. But she still worried and she was trying to enjoy everything right now.
She looked to Branden and grinned. well then go play she said grinning. It took her a second but she was gettin better with the whole getting on and off the horse. She got up into the saddle and smirked ok lets try this again she said grinning and laughing tagging his shoulder as she bent down nudging ozzie forward to what was his " quick trot" it was actually not that quick but faster than before and an upgrade for katie. She looked back to him and stuck her tongue out at him.
