Cassidy sat impatiently, twirling her hair, on the large leather couch. Her satin pajamas stuck uncomfortably to the jet black couch. Cassie turned the table lamp on, almost knocking over the bamboo plant that was beside it. She laughed in relief as it wobbled back into place. I can't wait till he gets here. Or until they get here. Cassidy had what you could call a 'crush' on Sean. His sister, Ashely was a nice girl. She was happy to have her over. But Cassie was more happy to have Sean's company than her's. Just the age differnce, I guess. Or wait They were both sixteen. Though in a few weeks Cassie would be seventeen.
So, it was the gender difference and attraction. So what, that didn't make Cassie a bad person. Cassie guessed Ashely, probably wasn't as mature as her. Because how Mr. & Mrs. Novak were so protective over her. But it didn't matter much. As long as she didn't need a bed time story or a night light, it was all good. Cassidy got up and walked into the kitchen. She opened the fridge and grabbed a can of iced tea. She opened it and took a few small gulps, before going back to the living room and sitting down again.

Ok, so he really didn't have to drive over here since he didn't live that far from Cassidy's home but the fact that it was dark out made him not want to walk over here. It wasn't that he was afraid of the dark it just was that he could trip over something that he didn't see and fall on the ground. Not to mention, he loved driving around in his car since it was rather flashy. Of course, he did have his work truck and that was simply because one could not transport lumber in his car. Not to mention, sometimes he'd have to go to some site out in the woods and that would require him going through mud and other things and he didn't want to risk getting his car stuck and/or muddy. After shutting the car off he turned in his seat to face Ashley. "Listen, don't go off and start telling embarrassing stories ok. You don't want me to wake you up and five in the morning by singing in the shower or something do you?" He said and knew that was a threat, a.) he couldn't sing and b.) Ashley never got up at five in the morning.
"Ok, just don't start getting all lovely dovey with her that's all I'm asking." Ashley said and then got out of the car and started to make her way toward the house. She didn't know why she had to come along, after all she really didn't know Cassidy. Although there had been a time when the two had met because she had decided to steal some of her brother cloths and was walking around with her hair tucked into a baseball cap and Cassidy had ran up behind her calling Sean's name. But she wasn't going to talk about that, since it was ancient history besides she didn't want to take anymore of Sean's cloths.
Lovey dovey? That was what Ashley was concerned about well he could almost guarantee that wasn't going to happen at least not when his little sister was around. Sure he had feelings for Cassidy but he wasn't about to show them in front of Ashley. Since she'd probably tell Mark and then he'd start bugging him about asking her out. That was one thing he didn't like about his older brother. He always was telling him to ask the girl that he liked out. He jogged toward the home and passed Ashley up easily he wanted to beat her to the door so that he could hear everything that she said. All too soon he was in front of the door and he knocked three times before waiting. He knew that Cassidy was probably sitting around downstairs waiting for them to arrive. But while he was waiting he tugged his faded red t shirt down further. He hadn't bothered to change his cloths since he'd done that after getting home from work. But now that he realized it he did have a pair of work jeans on the reason he could tell was because they had flecks of white paint on them. Oh well, hopefully Cassidy would think he bought them that way.

Cassidy heard a car pull up. She walked over to the door, unlocked it, and then opened it. The first person walking up was Ashely. "Hey Ashely. Nice to see you again." Cassie smiled at Ashley. She opened the door wider and welcomed Ashley in. Behind her was Sean. "Hi Sean. Nice to see you."Cassidy grinned warmly to him. She motioned them sit in the living room. "I guess I forgot tell you guys to bring bathing suits. 'Cause we have a in-ground pool and a hot tub. Although, Ashley, I might have one that would fit you. And Sean you could rummage through Randy's crap." she shrugged. Sitting down by Ashley, she looked at them both. Ashley looked as if she didn't want to be there at all. But Sean seemed happy and somthing else Cassidy couldn't deciefer.

Ashley smiled at Cassidy, she'd always liked her since seemed like she was a nice person. Not to mention, she was a grade ahead of her and to her there really wasn't anybody else to idolize. Of course, she hadn't met too many girls who were older than her and it wasn't like Sean would ever introduce her to any of them. "Really, well somebody here's been known to fall asleep in hot tubs. I won't mention any names but he knows who I'm talking about." She said and then looked at her older brother, sure she knew that she probably shouldn't have said that but what could Sean do to her while they were here push her in the pool? It was true fact though since she could remember the one time that she'd been around when there had been a small party at their home. She didn't know if it had been Sean's idea or Marks but in the end after all of the people had left Sean really hated started to fall asleep in the hot tub. Sure he hadn't been sound asleep like she had said but still, one could stretch the truth that much right?
He listened to what Cassidy said and knew that it probably would be a good thing if he could get a little exercise in while he was here. It would mean that he would be able to stay up longer. Normally he wasn't one for staying up all night long but if that was what Cassidy wanted then so be it. He didn't have to work tomorrow amazingly so he could stay up as long as he wanted. "Really, well I guess it's a good thing that you've got a brother then. Because swimming in jeans is fine but I don't think you want your furniture all wet." He said and then grinned slightly but it quickly disappeared once he heard Ashley speak. At least that story wasn't that embarrassing but still, had she not heard him say not to tell stories like that. "Ok, I admit that happened but still, I wasn't all the way asleep I was starting to fall asleep because the noise had died down." He said and then waited for Cassidy's reaction he wouldn't mind if she started laughing since it was probably a natural reaction to hearing something like that.

"Actually, I'm used to seeing that. Randy's done it a few times. I wouldn't mind though. Just more room in the house for us Ashley." Cassidy chuckled. Well, Randy hadn't exactly fallen asleep, he sorta passed out.... Oh well. She told them both she would return in a few minutes, then made her way upstairs. First, she went into her own room. She pulled out her three bathingsuits. The only one that actually fit her was the bikini. Of, course, it was a pastel blue with white polka-dots on it. Cassie quickly changed into it and grabbed her other black & white tankini and her navy blue one piece that had one thin stripe around the waist. Then Cassidy procedded to her brother's room. It was clean compared to usual. She walked overto his drawers and pulled out the first swimming trunks she saw. Quickly, she returned to her awaiting guests. Cassie aimed and threw the swimming trunks at Sean. Not careing if she hit him, she continued towards Ashley. Cassidy leaned over the back of the couch and held out her two bathing suits. "Which one hun?"

"Oh yeah, more room for us but you wouldn't want to hear him complain if he got left behind." Ashley said and then grinned she knew that the one thing that her brother really hated was being all alone. Which was probably why he had signed onto AIM and this whole thing had kind of unfolded. Once Cassidy left she stuck her tongue out at Sean and then made a face at him before Cassidy returned. "Hmm, tough decision but I'll have to go with the black and white one." She said and then wondered what her parents would say if they found out that she'd been brought over here and was about to go swimming. They wouldn't freak out or anything they'd probably just give a little talk to Sean about watching the house meant actually staying there. But for once, she wasn't going to rat on him of course she was here too so by saying that she would also be getting herself into trouble.
"Hey, I can't help it that I hate being alone. It's just that being alone means that there is nobody to talk to." He said and watched as Cassidy left and noticed that Ashley was making a face at him so he simply made one back at her before turning his back to her. She didn't know about the fact that he'd went to to club and sparks had definitely flew when it came to Cassidy and him. They'd ended up kissing and he had to admit that he really did like her. He wasn't sure when he would tell Ashley what happened perhaps he wouldn't for awhile yet. While he was thinking about that he felt something brush up against his ear and realized that it was a pair of swimming trunks. "Sure just hit poor Sean while he was daydreaming." He said and then sighed heavily before smiling. He wasn't a very good actor so he knew that Cassidy probably knew that he was kidding.

"And just were you daydreaming of?" Cassidy challenged him. Giggling she turned back to Ashley. "You better cover your ears Ashley! Who knows what he'll say." she said turning her head and winking at Sean. The tankini Ashley chose, was quite nice. It had a fitted halter top. But the bottoms were skimpy and had a white belt on it. But Cassidy's own bathing suit was waaaaayy skimpier! It was her favorite blue and her favorte pattern, polkadots. Cassidy smirked to herself, only imagining what was going through his head while she walked around wearing only a bikini. Though Cassie was wanted to see his body too. Sean did construction, carpertery work. He was toned and muscular. Which she thought was so hot. But anyways, thing probably would have been very different if Ashley had not been there with them. Now they knew they liked eachother and would probably have been sitting a lot closer and doing other 'stuff'. But snapping back into reality Cassidy smiled at Ashley. "Good choice." she said pointing to the bathroom. "You can change in the bathroom behind the stairs. Sean you can change in the guest bed room. I'm expecting you know where that is." After assigning their changing places, Cassie walked over to the large closet by the bathroom. Grabbing three fresh smelling beach towels out. Well, technically they would be 'pool' towels, because they used the pool more often then they went to the beach. But they were still warm and thick with some beach scene on them. "I'll be in the kitchen." Cassie told them walking into the kitchen. She pulled out a blender from in one of the cabinates. She plugged it in and went to the freezer and to grab ice and her pina colada mix. It was the kind of mix you put your own alchohol in though. So it was appropriate for all three of them.

"Oh he probably was just daydreaming about the perfect football play or something." Ashley said and then looked at Cassidy, she did have a small feeling that there was something that she was missing out on that involved her brother and Cassidy but she wasn't going to be bothered by it. And if she asked she'd feel like she was being nosy and if there really was nothing that she was missing out on she would feel stupid for asking. Sean kept a lot of things from her though but more than like he'd just pulled a harmless prank on her or something. But he knew that with Cassidy in that skimpy little bikini that Sean probably was staring at her every single chance that he got to. And if she caught him then she'd probably throw something at Sean behind Cassidy's back to remind him that she was there. "Ok, well I'll be back in a little bit then." Ashley said and then began to make her way toward the bathroom but before she left she dug a piece of paper out of her pocket and whipped it at Sean's head she'd realized that he'd had a silly little grin on his face which meant that he was definitely checking Cassidy out. "You know what that's payback for." She said and laughed slightly before leaving the room.
"So what if I was daydreaming about something like that. It's not like it's a crime or something." He said and then watched as Cassidy turned around and winked and he smiled back at her. She probably knew that he was just reliving memories from a couple of nights ago in his mind. The next thing he new something was hitting him in the head and he heard Ashley say that he would know what that was for. He didn't even know what that was for. Unless Ashley had realized that was really staring at Cassidy but he figured that he had a right to. After all both of them had admitted that they had feelings for each other and that they'd developed a crush on one another. As soon as Ashley left he got up and heard Cassidy say that she would be in the kitchen. Well that was where he'd go after he was done changing then. He did know where the guest bedroom was, since this wasn't the first time that he'd been over here. He quickly entered the bedroom and it only took him a few moments to change. After he was done he made his way into the kitchen cleared his throat loudly. "Oh, by the way I didn't tell Ashley anything about the whole club incident." He said and then waited for her answer. He knew that she'd probably be staring at him now but he was used to girls doing that when he was working on a roof or something with his shirt off. But still, Cassidy staring at him was something else.

Cassidy nodded. She hadn't looked up yet. She placed the ice and most of the pina colada mix in the blender. Then, she looked up. Cassie smiled and quietly whistled. "Well, I figured you wouldn't have. By the way, wow." she stuck to the spot trying hard not to stare. But it was kinda hard not to. She turned back to her blender and pressed the ice crush button. Suprisingly, the blender she had wasn't extremely loud. So Cassidy was able to talk over the noise. "Could you grab a few glasses please?" Cassie was trying to cover up in case Ashley walked in on them. After a few minutes she stopped the blender and put a little bit more ice in. Then decided what the heck and added more mix too. Cassie wanted to walk over and kiss Sean like she had at the Pink Flamingo. But knowing Ashley would come in any second, Cassidy wouldn't risk it. The pina colada mix was ready to drink. Now just to wait momentairly for Ashley. Cassie actually was really looking forward to swimming. She hadn't been in it in quite a while now. She was a very strong swimmer too. Katie actually taught her. After Cassie and her had the incident with the diving board. She really wanted to know how to swim.

"Wow? What did you think that I wouldn't have any muscle even though I work five to six days a week?" He asked and knew that he had to take his eyes off of Cassidy so he picked a spot on the ceiling and began to stare at it intently. He had to keep reminding himself that Ashely was here and that things couldn't even get as far as they had at the club. In fact, maybe a little minor flirting was all that could safely happen without Ashley realizing the two of them were holding back. But even then his sister knew that he didn't really flirt all that often, maybe it was best if they just acted like friends tonight and nothing else. It was going to be very hard to act like he had never kissed her or had feelings for her though. "Alright, a couple of glasses coming right up." He said and then grabbed three glasses and made his way over to where Cassidy and set them down on the counter. "Ashley's a natural born procrastinator so she should be here any second now." He said and then looked over to the entrance, half expecting Ashely to walk in.
Ashley had been taking her time changing but that was because she was admiring the house. She didn't think that she'd been here before and the chances were that she probably never would be again. Then again, maybe she was wrong about that but only time would tell. She began to make her way out of the bathroom and thought for a second about where Cassidy and Sean could be. Since she knew that he probably would have changed as fast as he could just so he could have a few private words with Cassidy. It was then that she heard a blender going and knew that the two of them were probably in there. So she made her way into the kitchen just as Sean looked toward the entrance to the kitchen. She hadn't heard a thing that the two of them had said to each other but she was sure that it probably was a good thing.

Cassidy stuck out her toungue playfully to what he said. Of course before Ashley came in. She unplugged the blender and poured the pina coladas into the three glasses. Being the host, Cassidy went over to the cabinates and grabbed some shredded coconut. Then procedded to the fridge grabbing a pinapple and finally grabbing a knife. She dropped everything onto her work station. As Ashley walked in Cassidy sprinkled coconut on the top of each drink. "Nice. It looks good on you. Here you go." Cassie handed her a pina colada. Then turned to Sean and handed him his. Then once again she turned back to the counter and cut up the rest of the pineapple to pieces. Cassie arranged them nicely on the plate. "We might as well go sit on the patio. It's really nice out tonight." Cassidy grabbed her pina colada and the plate. Then walked onto the patio. The yard was dimly lit with solar garden lights. The pool also glowed slightly. Flicking on the outdoor lamp on the patio, a small hammock and chairs seemed to appear. "Take you pick." Cassidy announced as she dropped into the hammock. It was one of her favorite places to relax. A pool. A hot tub. A hammock. What more did you need to relax? Besides good friends.

He watched as Cassidy stuck her tongue out at him, but he decided that he wasn't going to do anything back. Besides, she wasn't looking anymore anyway. So he'd just sit back and watch her work, he did have to admit that she was probably moving at a faster pace than he would be. Of course, he never really was one for making drinks, or making anything that involved food. Perhaps it was because he was a failure at cooking and if given the chance he could burn anything. Then again, he hated to even be in the kitchen since he knew that he'd probably mess something up. When his mother was in there making something she'd kick everybody out of it so that something didn't go wrong. Perhaps that was because when he was three or four she'd been cutting a cake and found a toy car in it. Nobody ever let him forget that but he couldn't even remember that happening.
Ashley grinned when Cassidy said that it looked good on her, she had hoped that it would. It wasn't that she saw herself as fat or something because she wasn't since she was five four and about a hundred and ten pounds or so. She then took the drink from her and followed behind Cassidy out to the patio. "At least it's not raining or something of course, I know for a fact that somebody here has went swimming in the rain numerous times." She said and then looked back to where Sean was. The one time that she'd went swimming in the rain her parents had freaked out. But no, Sean did it all the time and he didn't get lectured about it. She really did hate how protective her parents were over her. Ashley then moved over to a chair and sat down in it, this place certainly was pretty. But for some reason the silence of the place seemed a little odd to her.
Sean fell into place right behind Ashley and watched as Cassidy dropped into the hammock. He then selected a chair that was exactly in between his sister and Cassidy. This way, he could still have a conversation with her yet shoot looks at his sister if she started to say something rather childish. "Yeah, but you're a delicate female remember?" He said and then leaned back in the chair and sighed. This place was a lot more relaxing then he'd thought it would be. He knew that he'd have to keep talking so that he didn't fall asleep in the chair though. "So Cassidy, what were you going to do if I couldn't come over here?" He asked knowing that it was time to start a good conversation.
