[Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone]
[Just the one two of us is counting on]
[That never happens, I guess I'm dreaming again]
[Let's be more than, more than this]
Sitting cross-legged on the slightly dampened grass, Lacy sipped her bottled water furiously. She had just run 5km quickly, and, even though it was a thing she did daily, it still took the breathe out of her. Thankfully it wasn’t as hot as most of the other days had been, and for once she was happy the sun was out, feeling the warmth of the sun beating down on her golden locks. Her skin was now beginning to tan, and although Lacy’s face had small beads of sweat on it, she looked picture perfect. Lacy was lucky, she seemed to look good no matter what she was doing. Lacy loved the park. It was quiet, but there was occasionally the scream of a small child enjoying himself or herself in the playground, other people running, bussling mothers pushing babies around in strollers, it was just something about the atmosphere that Lacy loved.
At the moment Lacy’s attire was nothing to be proud of, a plain pink tee-shirt with a scribble heart, and a pair of pink and white running shorts. Her running shoes were on her feet, and her tanned legs were tucked under her body. A heart necklace which Lacy constantly wore was around her neck, and a touch of makeup sat on her face, her long dark blonde hair swept into a messy ponytail at the back of her head. Lacy was definitely not dressed to impress, just to run.
Turning her sapphire blue eyes to the left, she watched a small child as he rushed away from him mother. A grin broke out, lighting up the features of her face. Turning her gaze away from the child, she picked up her small pink ipod and turned it on, placing the small earpieces into her ears. Brushing a stray piece of dark blonde hair from her face, she leaned back on one hand, her music playing in her ears. Singing along softly, she sometimes forgot that you were the only one who could hear the music coming from the ipod. Raising her bottle of water to her lips once more, she finished the bottle and tossed it down beside her.
