Randy felt a tap on his shoulder. He felt as if he would burst out laughing any moment. But he calmly stayed in the water. He started to feel a little light headed but it didin't bother him. Randy all of a sudden had an idea. Katie was close to the edge, soooooo; Randy shot out of the and grabbed Katie by her waist and quickly, but gently pulled her into the hot tub. He smirked. "Hey Katie." Randy laughed still holding her waist.

Katie watched she knew he'd come out eventually. But what he did next realy cought her off guard. She saw him come up a short beam of pride in herself, ha she won!....wrong....she felt him grab her and pull her in as she tried to scramble away. Yelping almost, sort of, from submerging in the boiling water so quickly.
She looked at him serious for a moment before a small grin came onto her face turning into a laugh hey Randy she said laughing ruffling his wet hair in a slightly sarcastiaclly happy-go-lucky grin on her face, she would admit it though he was keeping work interesting

"Now was that so hard?" Randy asked, almost in a whisper. He laughed as she ruffled his hair. Usually that wasn't cool. But Katie was cute and 'innocent'. Randy still held her waist, as if she would try to run away. He almost didn't realize. Slowly he one hands through her hair. Randy took his other hand off her waist. He felt bubbly and light headed. Then he did something unexpected. He gave her a quick but sincere kiss. Randy realised and jumped back. "Oh, sorry. Sorry." he appologized as he back out of the hot tub. He pulled his trunks up and stated speed walking to the lockers.

yes it was, thanks for dumping me in a boiling water she teased grinning. She looked a little shocked as he ran his hand through her hair....for innocent flirting he was getting close to that "innocent flirting' lineeeee. She hadnt expected what came next either. .....Backing away as he kissed her...yup there went that line.
She watched him apolagize and basically run out. She got out of the water getting back up to her lifeguarding chair. Watching him speed walk away.........uhhhhhhh didnt expect that one. nope she didnt think it'd happen. She just watched though. At one point she was still shocked and a bit appalled that he just went and kissed ehr at another she was a bit disturbed with herself wondering if by sorry he was sorry that he'd kissed her, or was sorry that it was the wrong time wrong place...She lingered on that for the rest of her shift before getting down from her stand and trading off with the lifeguard coming in. She went into the locker rooms changing and blowdrying her hair, re-applying makeup, all that fun stuff. She was sure Randy would have left by now, and was wondering if they were still on for the flamingo tonight....oh well she'd let him give her a call about it, he either had her number...or if he didnt it was fine because she was one of the easiest people to get ahold of around...everyone else had her number.

Randy had gone home by the time Katie had finished her shift. He did feel bad for what he did. Wrong place wrong time. he thought. It had almost become a motto now. Cassidy askd what was wrong and he explained. She found it hard to keep a straight face. Katie was one of her best friends. She had a good idea of what was going through her head. Randy sighed and looked at his sister. "Would you phone her and tell her she's still invited if she wants to come."

She saw that he'd left and packed her car with her stuff letting the horses run down the road she went home. Her mind was still elsewhere on what had happened. THAT was an eventful day at work. She got home leaving her stuff in the car and immidiately going home to shower. By the time she'd blowdried her hair and gotten ready again, she'd let it slide by. Katie wasnt one to keep things where they were, she moved on pretty easily and normally had no hard feelings for most things.
