Ok, so it was a Saturday night one would think that there was somewhere else that he could be. But there wasn't, he was stuck at home watching his younger sister. She didn't need a babysitter, or at least he didn't think so after all she was fifteen years old. He hadn't needed a babysitter by then in fact the last time he'd probably had an adult watch him was most likely when he was ten and that was because his parents had been going somewhere overnight and they hadn't wanted to leave him alone. His parents would be gone until the morning and they trusted him enough to leave him in charge, well his brother should have been the one in charge but he'd immediately left after his parents did. He could only guess where Mark was going, probably off to a friends house or the most common answer, off to the club or to a party. That was where he could be, if he wasn't here watching Ashley. But there would be other parties, he knew that he probably wasn't missing out on too much. Besides, Branden had called and he was stuck home too but that was because tonight his parents had decided to host some fancy dinner party that he was stuck at. So he didn't feel so bad after hearing that. Neither of them were one of those people that decided to get drunk every single weekend.
His eyes then spotted the AIM icon in the corner of the screen, perhaps somebody would be online. Although he knew that the chances of one of his other friends being on were slim, after all they were probably out for the night. But, there always was a chance right? Maybe he'd be able to meet somebody new?

Cassidy, once again stuck at home. Grounded from last Saturday when she stayed to late. So Randy was out and this poor girl was stuck to do nothing. AIM! she thought up quickly. Cassie got up and quickly got into her satin pajamas. They were her favorite pair. They were blue and the top short sleeved and the bottoms were shorts. Cassidy puled out her computer chair and booted up her computer. After waiting for it to turn on, she clicked the AIM button and it popped up with only one message.
"Wow. I'm not the only one home tonight." Cassie murmered.

Yes! There was somebody that he knew on which meant that he wouldn't have to feel alone anymore. Perhaps Cassidy and him could have a nice conversation together. If she felt like gossiping with him that was fine. Since it seemed that was usually what happened. Something would remind him of a rumor or something that happened and he'd just start talking about it. This didn't happen all of the time and there was only a select group of people that he could do that with. And all of them were close friends of his.
Nov@k{which one though}: My night's going good I guess. But I'm really bored I'm stuck home babysitting and making sure the house didn't get ripped to pieces while my parents are gone until the morning. How's your night going?
It was just then that he felt a wet nose press up against his arm and it made him jump. He looked down and realized that it just was his dad's new puppy. Apparently it had followed him up to his room. "I guess it's just you and me tonight then. Ashley's here but you wouldn't want to be by her would you? No you wouldn't because she'd squeeze you and baby talk to you." He said and then looked back at the screen.

Cassidy giggled. Sean was alot of fun. She actually felt some attraction to him. But nothing major. Cassie loved AIM. Gossip, a little natrual flirting, everything happened on AIM. It was the easiest way to dump someone if your scared to go face-to-face. Alot of the other Potrancas did it. Cassidy thought it was cruel though. You might as well go face-to-face.
CassieBaby; I'm grounded. All alone my parents went to dinner. Randy's out doing who knows what. So i'm all alone.  And boredom has taken over. So i'm very happy your online!

Well, at least she was happy that he was online which meant that he hadn't interrupted her or something. Then again, she was the one who had replied to his SOS signal. That really was what his first post had been it was a call for somebody to talk to him. He looked around for a moment at all of the pictures that were around his room. Most of them had Branden in them but that was because the two of them were around each other about sixteen hours out of the day most of the time.
Nov@k{which one though}: Yeah my brother isn't even home. And he's supposed to be here but I'm not going to tell on him because that could be disastrous.

Aah gossip. Cassidy was know for it. Being #2 Potranca, she got alot of it. But not much had been going on the past while. They needed the new stuff. Fresh out of the oven. But she couldn't just make something up. She wanted it to be partially true. Cassie just decided to tell him about the latest in her brother's love triangle.
CassieBaby; He's that bad? I belive I've met him once. Don't remember much. 
CassieBaby; Gossip now. Don't get me started. LoL Well nothing much has been happening. It's just been the same old, same old. Besides my brother's luuuuv triangle. Anna is still wanting him. Badly. But Jade's not gonna just let go. At least I don't think so. It's quite intresting.

Well, that was certainly interesting he had heard that there was a little love triangle forming and it appeared as if it would be a battle. Of course he knew that Randy probably loved all of the attention that he was getting from those two girls. Unless he didn't know that either of them liked him but he really didn't think that would be the case.
Nov@k{which one though}: Well, no not most of the time. But you see he had knee surgery a couple of weeks ago and he's grumpy because he's still on crutches and can't drive. Why I thought he'd be at a club I don't know. I guess I must have forgot about the fact that it would be pointless for him to be there.

Cassidy laughed.Of course it was more intresting, she only gave out top of the line gossip. Cassie twirled her hair around her finger. She felt sorry for his brother...but not. If that made any sense. Knee surgery is painful, her dad had it.
CassieBaby;Oh ouch, my dad had knee sugery too. It's stupid for him to go out, he could re-injure it.

Yes, he did agree that his brother was being very stupid about going out. Of course, he probably was just a couple of houses over passed out on a couch due to the pain medication kicking in. But still, it wasn't like he had to leave since he was upstairs and the two probably wouldn't have seen each other the whole entire night. Unless he had went downstairs to try and find something to eat.
Nov@k{which one though}: Yeah I know, but since my parents are out of town he can get away with going out. Since if they were here they'd make sure he stayed put. I'm not too worried about him though because I probably know where he is and if he's there he isn't going anywhere. Besides, if I went looking for him he'd probably play the "I'm older so you don't have to look for me" card.

Nov@k{which one though}: Yeah I know so was I. Maybe it's because my parents seem to think she'd try holding a party when they're gone. Well that would only happen if I was invited of course one would think I wouldn't have to be if it was in the house I live in.
He did think that his parents were being a little overprotective of Ashley, maybe it was because she was the only girl. But she had a lot of sense and knew what to do and what not to do. Perhaps they were worried because she'd been introduced to the party scene. And they thought that she shouldn't go to any of them well they'd thought that about him too and look how that turned out. Then again, Mark had claimed that he'd "watch him" well he had for about ten minutes before running off with friends. Which had been fine with him since who wanted their older sibling watching them at a party?

Cassie had met Ashely briefly before. Going to pick-up Sean with Branden and Randy once. She seemed like a great girl.

He knew that Ashley probably idolized Cassidy. And if that was the case that was fine with him since he couldn't see why that would be a problem. Of course he really didn't see his sister that much because she was always off hanging around with Branden's sister at the mall or something.
